When you're vulnerable and honest with someone, you're putting a lot of trust in them. So it's probably healthy to feel a little fearful of rejection. I think for any kind of relationship that tension is really important because connecting over those parts of yourself that make you who you are are usually a big part of what makes you close to someone.

It's how you know they can understand you and it's how you get an opportunity to truly understand them.

So I guess both? Maybe neither... If I feel good when I'm around someone I try to find out why by getting to know eachother.
