A woman that my partner used to work with ended up working at a different place with one of my relatives. My relative told me that my wife was telling all her co-workers that I was a deadbeat dad and had nothing to do with our son. She pretended that she was a single mom to get attention. Meanwhile, I was literally at home looking after our son and even taking him to work with me in the evening. When I confronted her about this she just shrugged her shoulders. Then she threatened to take our son and move far away. She knew that I loved him more than anything. That's when I realized that I was living with a monster of a person. I never really looked at her the same way after that.

That's how I found out she was making up lies about me. A woman she worked with changed jobs and went to work with my relative. Then she told my relative everything. Then my relative told me. After we it up I had my son with me pretty much all the time. She maybe showed up once a week and took him for a few hours. Now he's all grown up and living on his own.

She's my ex-wife now so I don't know what to call her when I refer to our past. I don't want to give people the impression that we're still together. Then when I describe her as my ex-wife sometimes people say things like "Why are you living with your ex-wife?"
