I’m a 23 year old male. I only been in two serious relationships one being when I was 15 and my recent one now. I only been talking to this new girl for three-four months. We really clicked together she said she loves me but I barely believe her. She’s 20 years old and to me she has a beautiful personality but I’m usually going by looks with a girl. I know that’s selfish on my end. I tell her me and her won’t be in a relationship for a few months or even a year til things straightens out. Yet I act like her boyfriend.

I’m sorry but there is just no good reason to wait an entire year to be in a relationship. That is you being noncommittal and I’m not sure why. You don’t have to be in love with someone to be their boyfriend, it isn’t marriage. If you like this woman enough to treat her like your girlfriend then have the respect for her to give her a title. Otherwise it’s like you’re stringing her along for no good reason and it’s just immature.
