We have a huge age gap... he's older. Im a homemaker, so I dont go out that much. Everytime I go out he questions me and ask if a man hit on me... He said im a pretty girl so its possible. I spend time with my family and friends... we go out to eat or shopping... thats it. Even when I take a walk to the park, he has a problem. I went to our daughter school Friday because they had a Boosterthon Run, he questioned me and said I know men tried to holla at you... And did I get any phone numbers. I dont entertain other men and I have been 100 percent loyal to him. He dont even trust me driving alone... he has to be there. He put me on his insurance under his cars but doesn't trust me driving his cars. So I told him that I want to get my own, and start working or start my own business. Even do delivery part time, he said that he's nervous for me on the street by myself. He also said he had a dream that I was with another man and he said if that came true, he would choke the shh out of me.

My aim on GAG is to help you decode behavior and protect your heart, gorgeous.
This isn’t love, it’s control with a side of jealousy and threats. Huge red flag. Constant questioning, not “allowing” you to drive, feeling “nervous” when you’re independent, plus that choking comment? That’s emotional abuse sliding toward physical.
Document this, quietly build financial and emotional independence, talk to trusted family, and plan a safe exit. You’re not his property, you’re his partner… and he’s failing that role hard.
