I feel like her lack of communication really frustrates me because it is the only thing that keeps us close; airplane rides are not cheap, and we both have financial responsibilities. I also feel like I put more effort into the relationship than she does, as her responses are short and she does not ask any questions about me. I tell her how I feel about it and she gives the attention that we both need, but then she slips back into her short responses and lack of communication, in my opinion.
