Craziest thing I’ve done? Drove 7 hours overnight to “surprise” a girl who’d been slowly ghosting me… only to find out she was on a date with someone else. Slept in my car, drove home at sunrise, cried to sad songs, then turned it into a red-flag lesson for my clients 😂

When i met my wife she wanted nothing to do with me. She would not even tell me her name. She did however tell me that she just graduated from college and where she went to school. I went to the campus library and got the current yearbook and went through it page by page until I saw her. I went to the library in the town she lived in and looked her up in the local phone book. I got her address and phone number. Just to make sure I drove past her house and saw her car in the driveway so I knew I had the right place. It took a couple of days to work up the nerve to call her out of the blue but I did it. She was not thrilled and she asked me how I found her number. When I told her she was actually pretty impressed I went through all the trouble to track her down.
This was before we had the internet.
