I like a guy but he lives far away. What do I do?

OK so I like this guy, but he lives 3 hours away from me. I get to see him every now and then. The last time I saw him was October 29... I miss him, alot! :( We both like each other, we told each other that... we almost kissed but I'm too much of a wimp! I was going to kiss him on our one year friendaversay (December 27,2010), I think I might love him... but I'm not really sure what love is.. he's one of my best friends and he has been there for me when no one else in my life was... I care about him and trust him with everything... he has told me he loves me, and I told him that I love him, but I don't know what to do.. because its been two weeks since we have talked... could he be ignoring me? I don't know. Should I just give up? Do you think I'm in love or is it just puppy love? I'm so confused.

This is so ridiculously cute and I don't think you should let him go.

I've been in a long distance relationship for 2 years. He lives 8 hours away, and because we're both in college, we only see each other twice in summer and once in winter. Sometimes I go 5 months without seeing him. But guess what? We're insanely happy. It's not miserable at all. My point is, not everyone experiences long distance the same way. People who have bad experiences with it tend to be really passionate about telling people not to even attempt it, so that's why I like to tell my story :) The thing is, I'd much rather be with him long distance than not be with him at all, and if you feel the same way about this guy (which I'm guessing you do), I think you should keep going with the flow and see where it takes you. It sounds like you have something special :3

I am happy with the way it is, I mean ywah we don't get to see each other a lot but when we do its one of the most amazing times of my life.. I get to spend the whole summer with him... :) And I really hope its something special.. but whatever it is, I don't think I want it to end just yet. :) I honestly don't wanna get hurt though.. I have trust issues.. I don't let people get close to me because the ones who did, just left... but meanwhile I'm just gonna let things happen and see where it takes me.

Here's the thing hon. You like him and he likes you. It's so rare to find untainted attraction like that; don't ruin it by overthinking it. Three hours is a lot closer that 6 or 7. Give it a go

Well its true that I haven't seen him in 4 months but I still talk to him on the phone and Facebook message him.. so I still hear from him and talk to him we just don't see each other as much...

I understand. You need to go through the anguish and ultimate waste of time that is a long distance relationship. Who needs a warm body and a beating heart when you've got Facebook?

Look I never said it was love. And also I would LOVE to see him but if I'm not able to see him I would rather talk on the phone, video chat, and Facebook... Then not talk to him at all. :)
