How often does getting a third date lead to a relationship?

I am going on my third date with this girl over the weekend. We have had so much fun on the first two so I assume the third will be the same. So my question is...how often will having three good dates lead to a relationship?

If this third date goes well and we spend as much time together as I think we will, we will have spent about 19 hours together over those three dates. So that's kind of a long time for the first three dates...

If you can land a third date, that's usually a very good sign. The second one is the hardest to pull off. It means that she already agreed to go out with you before, and did so once again. If you get past date two, you can just relax and be yourself on date three. It is like cruise control. Have fun, joke around and before long, there's a very good chance you'll have a new girlfriend. We had a ton of fun on the third date again. We spent 10 hours together...but she is wanting to go really slow. She has never done anything with a guy before and when we kissed on the second date it was her first kiss. Affter the 2nd date she said how she isn't quite ready to kiss yet and she isn't sure if she wants more than friends at this point but will see where this goes. I said we can take it slow together and she said that sounds good.

But how slow is too slow? Is there a chance I get stuck as only a friend? We did not kiss on the 3rd date because I respected what she said but I did wrap my arm around her to keep her warm when we were outside and she didn't seem to mind. So what should I be doing at this point? Should I ask her when she will be comfortable with more than hugging or should I just feel it out when we are together? And should I ask her what we can do so we don't get stuck as just friends?

Keep up the good work. Keep touching her on the arm, teasing her, making her laugh. All of these will prevent you from entering a zone of friendship. After a few more dates, you should be trying to kiss her again. If she refuses after that, just smile and say, I'll be gentle and I promise you'll not only get used to it, but like it. :)

So you don't think I should try to kiss her on the next date? Even though we have spent a total of about 21 hours together on the first three dates? I have been doing a lot of touching. Like touching her arm, hand, I wrapped my arm around her for about a minute to keep her warm, I put my head on her shoulder for a couple seconds when we were laughing...I think she is comfortable with that kind of stuff.

You can if you feel she's in the mood. Does she look comfortable? Is she laughing a lot? Have you built up the tension? Lean in close several times like you might be trying to kiss her, then lean back. Built it up! Let her wonder why you AREN'T trying to kiss her. Build it up to a high level and she'll be more receptive to a kiss when you do finally try one. Of course, do the leaning in with your other touching. Warm her up slowly.

What are the odds you think this turns into a relationship? I mean, 21 hours on the first three dates is a really good sign. But then you have to take into account her mind might be telling her she isn't ready yet which is never good

She's probably just scared. Everything is a first time for her, so she's probably still trying to sort out her emotions. That you keep getting additional dates is the best sign of her interest. Work with her, don't forget to keep teasing and having fun and she should come around soon enough.
