How can he love me if he only sees me once a fortnight?

He is very busy with work, but I've always believed free time is never given, that it is always made - as there will always be something to do. He says he loves me but how can he love me if only makes time for me once a fortnight?

Personally I feel everyone has different levels of commitment that might be "normal" to him/her. What he deems to be a normal relationship might be different from you or the rest of the world for that matter. He could view work as his first priority and that may never change. Bottomline is you feel there is an imbalance in the relationship and you need to sort it out. Have a chat with him so he knows how you feel, then see if he makes an effort at all? If he does, happy days. If he doesn't, then you'll have to make a decision as to whether or not you can accept this for the long term. Good luck

I don't think anyone is really that busy. He could probably make time if he really wanted to. BTW nice use of "fortnight". I usually only hear that word used during Wimbledon. Are you from Britain?

Australia, so depending on how you look at it, I'm almost from Britain. I thought fortnight was universally used in English Speaking countries.
