Why won't white guys try dating black girls?

I'm black and I LOVE white guys...sadly, most of the white guys I like won't date me, because I'm black.

Like, they'll tell me they like me, but they kinda freak out after they realize that they're getting involved with a black girl. It REALLY sucks for me cause I honestly prefer white guys, but I just wanna show that all black girls aren't the same, and SO WHAT if someone else has an issue with it. They don't matter.

What's so wrong with dating black girls? We don't bite...hard. :)

I'd love some input from white guys, but feel free to put your thoughts on this subject.

If you really are a black girl, you've made yourself pathetic. I'm still skeptical as to why you'd be so desperate and believe you weren't attractive enough to attract something as simple and predictable as a man. Go overseas. You'll be chased down by men, and you will see that black women native to that country have the same problem. America is something different, altogether. But, don't wait around for some narcisstic robotic white american idiot who isn't attracted to you because you haven't been featured on the latest cover of an american magazine. Many people would like to let you believe that as a black woman you are not the most lovely beautiful creature on this earth (whether that be to justify their own fears of not being accepted by you, or whether it be to keep you putting up with bullcrap relationships.) If you buy into that you are making that even more of a reality for younger U.S. black girls watching you.

Move on.

Save some money.

And, travel outside of this country.

Once you have some self esteem, come back to the states and never give one of these white cocksuckers the time of day. If you act like you're worthless, and chase after people who don't count you as worthy, you've written your own ticket into misery. Now, that you know better. It's up to you to make a change.

You can attract a whole lot of beautiful things in this life by cutting off those who don’t value you from the start. It may not seem like it, but there are some intelligent people out there whose eyes have not been clouded by propaganda. Once you’re in that “I am happiest in my own skin” mental space, these type of people can flock into your life. But, if you are preoccupied with those who are not capable of appreciating you, whether being preoccupied with trying to change their minds, or with figuring out why they are that way..this is what your life will be..just a long time wasted on a sad situation.

My brother is white, his girlfriend is black--they've been together for years.

My best friend in high school was black, she only dated white guys.

I don't want to say you're going after the wrong guys since you can't help who you're attracted to, but there are white guys who like black girls. And if those guys won't give you a chance just because you're black (even though they say they like you), they're not right for you. I think that as we get older and meet more people, we place more value on individuals rather than groups; generalizations hold less weight.

Seriously we don't bite lol I'm half jamaican and white, I never dated white guy before. I once went out with one just because I been forced too try it out lol and it was kinda akward for me, especially when we were walking all the sistahs were staring at me lol. But if a white guy don't date a black girl then they are scared of us! Or probably their parents will freak out if they find out their white son is dating a black girl. But that's stupid. If you love somebody it dnt matter what color you are. I know many white guys that prefer black girls though.

There's an old saying, "Youth is wasted on the young". Sometime within the next 5 to 10 years, all of the guys that say they like you, but don't wanna date you 'cause you're black, will look back on it and start a lifetime of kickin themselves. You're better off not to have to bother with guys that are that shallow anyway. Just kick back and know, that black women are the best kind that God made, and when you get out into the world you'll find out how many white guys know it. For now, just shake your head and feel sorry for the pathetic little guys at your school. Boy will they regret it.

Because at the end of the day some of us feel we will be rejected. There is a large portion of black women who would literally laugh a white man out of the door if he woud even try to approach them. We fear rejection as much as the next guy and it just compounds when you have said no just looking at my melanin levels.

I'm a white guy, and I've been around awhile--here is my input.

For some white men, it is a purely physical thing--they just aren't attracted to something about black girls. Perhaps they don't like kinky hair, or maybe they prefer small noses (just being honest here, we all know black people tend to have larger noses).

With other white guys, it may be racism. They either might be racist themselves, or they might just want to avoid the hassle that would come from dating a black girl. Maybe their parents would disapprove, for exaple.

Oh, and like the anonymous guy below said--it could be the stereotypical attitude many black girls have. Loud, rude, and abrasive. Of course I know you aren't all like that. But, I live in a black neighborhood, and I could find a black girl that fit that stereotype in about 5 minutes. Or less.

I would suggest trying to find a white guy who is okay with it, or just push the ones who are afraid a bit more. If they're afraid to be with you because of stereotypes and whatnot, just lead the relationship in the beginning, try not to let them back out easily. Keep in mind, though, that this might not work, I'm only suggesting it as an option that isn't doing nothing.

Maybe it depends on your area. Maybe you're right, maybe some guys think that all black girls are the same. I don't know what their generalizations are that come with this though. But maybe it just depends on the area of the country you're from. Some places have a higher mix of races then others, so it's more natural, because that's just the way it is.

I'm white and I almost dated a black preppy girl when I was in high school. But yeah, didn't work out. lol She wasn't as interested in me as I was her. But I have no problem with dating a black female if she wears clothes that I find attractive, and if she presents her self in a good way.

im a white guy and I actually prefer black girls. We are out there, it's just like anything when it comes to dating, you just have to be patient and keep looking for what you want and it will eventually come.
