Is a long distance relationship easier as a virgin? or not?

me and my girlfriend have been planning on waiting till marriage till we first have sex, we've been going out for about 22 months, 11 months of those have been long distance. recently we've both been talking about having sex during my trip over to where she is living in a couple of months time. We feel like it'd be amazing and bring us closer, and have something more. however we fear it may make long distance harder as there is more to miss of each other, for those who have experienced long distance as a virgin and not one, you're thoughts are wanted especially :) thanks in advance people

i ain't in a long distance relationship but I miss my boyfriend more when he goes away after we had sex and before when we weren't having sex. sex brings you closer together though but for a long distance relationship it may cause you to crave it when your partner ain't there leading to cheating.
