Suppose you break up because he is not ready for a serious relationship. A year later, he wants to get back together, and is ready for a serious relationship. You still love him, and would like to accept his offer... What do you do?

Does history repeat itself?

Or, is this a sign and opportunity that you two are meant to be together?

meant to be together? don't know you can take it that far just off that...but maybe he's had time to mature a bit and settle down and give it some thought about what he really wants in his life and what he's been without with. unless the first breakup was horrible I think it's worth another shot. a year is quite a while, if he wanted to get back together a couple months down the road then I wouldn't say go for it.
