Do girls hate it when their boyfriends act mushy?

I just had one of the best weeks of my life with my girlfriend and she's gone back to school for two weeks. I just want to tell her all these things about how I love her and what not but I'm not like that, its just that I really love her and miss her already even though its been like one day. I just feel like I seem over attached if I do that and she would get annoyed

How long have you been together? If you have been together for a while than just be yourself, if she dumps you over it than she was going to at some point anyway... Just don't keep repeating yourself over and over with the gushy stuff.. I hate when a guy tells me how great I am over and over it feels like the covo will never end and I don't value hearing it anymore from him.. Time yourself and give yourself one min to say how you feel then let it go.. Or give her little sprinkles of effecting via text like one day "I already miss you!" two days later "I can't wait to see you in two weeks baby!" 3 days later "I love you so much!" 4 days later "I have a surprise for you for when your back!" (holiday gift) two days before she comes home "I can hardly wait! Are you excited for your surprise?"

I love it. And I am far from the girlie girl type. My boyfriend is always afraid that if he's too mushy I'll get sick and leave, because honestly, with all other boyfriends I've had, they've either grossed me out or scared me off by being mushy, but with him, I just can't get enough of it.

Except for when I want to be serious, of course. Then he needs to can the mushiness, but other than that, he can be sappy and mushy all he wants. Girls typically like it when their guy spills all the mushy out to them every now and again. It's sweet.

That can be part of the reason you get friend zoned, which is before a relationship, but still need to bottle up feelings and act like a bag of testosterone.

NO! Girls love it! I love when a guy can be sentimental and tell me how he feels. However, if you are the type to do this all the time, you need to be careful, and after a while, she may start to feel smothered. If you do this all the time, then tone it down some, but if you don't generally do this, then go for it! It will pleasantly surprise her!

I think most girls like it. I am not one of those girls because I am not a mushy person myself. Mushy girls like mushy guys. Non-mushy girls like non-mushy guys. It all depends on your comfort level.

I actually love that kind of stuff, as long as it's not a daily occurrence. Too much can be too much, but most men I've known aren't romantic enough. Tell her you love her and miss her if you do - it'll feel good for both of you.

At some point, it can start to feel like it's not really genuine, if someone says the same good thing all the time. That's a huge part of why I think physical affection is so key in a relationship - it takes all those "I love you"s and other words and phrases, and translates them into something else, while still letting you be as completely affectionate as you'd like.
