At what age do females typically stop showing their belly buttons in public?

My girlfriend is a few years older than me. I'm 23 and she's 27. She's not an attention seeker or something but sometimes when we're out in public she gets the guys' attention by the way she dresses. She doesn't dress in short skirts or have her boobs hanging out, but she does show her belly button. She doesn't wear short tops that show off most of her midriff. But she does wear tops that are slightly short that allow you to see her belly button. I don't mind her dressing like this because I think it's sexy. She says she likes dressing in tops a certain length because she doesn't want to show off her whole stomach, but she loves to show off her belly button ring. She says if her belly button wasn't pierced she would cover her stomach up completely. But she loves to show her belly button ring because she likes that piece of jewellery. I just thought girls her age generally begin to stop caring about that kind of stuff.
