Is he trying to connect with me?

This man dumped me after 2 months of dating, because "he wasn´t ready for the relationship" and "he was not feeling it". We both were recently after break-up and he believed that I would make him crazy if we would start a relationship. This happened three months ago and I´m still thinking of him.

I had a birthday on Friday and he sent me a Facebook message with birthday wish. I thanked for that wish and he replied (at 3:30 a.m) that he hopes I´m doing well and he is sorry of being a stranger. He finished the message with "take care". Is there any chance he is thinking of me and wants to come back?
