Is my LONG term sex buddy catching feelings?

Long to Short...

I've known this HOT guy for 3 years, met in college. We had sex (1st year) with no strings and I had no problem. Suddenly after a couple times of sex he would ask me to stay the night or watch movies or just chill. I turned him down each time cause in my head, I'm here just for sex. I got into a relationship with another person and he would 'poke fun' about me talking to this person and stayed asking about us and my previous relationship.

We stayed in contact periodically throughout the years. He has asked me NUMEROUS of times to come over, chill, spend the night, I got a new place closer by you so its no excuse and BLAH. I turned that man down, or had other things to do for over a year.

Summer is here, he knows I'm back from school so he calls. I turned him down bout 3 more times (even to go out for food) and I decided to finally go over there since I was out. AGAIN he asked about the person I was talking to (jealously I may add). The man is great in bed (I'm single) so we had sex, nothing unusual there. In between all this though, we do have regular convos and he has shared some interesting things with me (growing up, relationships, goals, careers).

So is it possible a very attractive man would pursue just sex for so long despite my countless rejections to his invitations?

Or those a man who usually get anything he wants finally met his match and could be liking me more than he's willing to say?

He is into you for sure. I have a sex buddy and when were done we part ways. We don't chill or watch flicks or just kick it because I'm there to bang and that's all. With the girls that I am dating, we go to dinner, we go out to movies, have ice cream, theses are relationship builders. Dudes just want sex so if he is already getting it and asking for more, then he is catching feelings. Sex buddy relationship ended. LOL That's how all mine have ended up to this point lol

Well why you think after so long of us kicking it, I can't read into him more? Like he'll hint it through his action but just won't freakin come out with it. Even after I have said 'if we're just a sex thang, you can't hurt my feelings by being honest'.

What guy wants to admit that he's caught up. This guy is still single after you went to college and came back right? I think he knows that sex is all you want so he is trying to win you over to a relationship interest without making his intentions known. Not to mention, he won't screw up a good thing especially when its sex with a gorgeous thing, I'm assuming, like yourself. He pobably is worried that if you know he is caught up or sprung you will cut him off. Who wants that ?

True, true. I suppose my best answer from him would be if I flat out asked him straight up. But I don't want to push him away either by looking desperate or clingy..or worse hear what I don't want to. I guess we both in the cycle here lol

Yeah, you could take him up on an offer sometime and see how he acts. Do you want more than just sex? Sex buddy is the best and worst situation in the world. At first its great, but eventually it ends in heart break. Your lucky because you can control the outcome

I don't have a problem with how we are cause I'm mature enough to distinguish what we're doing and I think that's why we been cool for so long. The curiosity is from me being use to guys flocking all over me and he doesn't at all. So I'm sure you can imagine how this keeps me intriqued lol with the fact I KNOW puss can't be that good to the point your still chasing it years later.

HA HA HA....Thats a pretty funny comment. Yeah I could understand him acting out of the norm as compared to others. He has known you longer too, than most of the other guys that you meet so his responses to you should be a little different. Maybe it is that good, LOL

Oh no! You have a good looking guy who not only likes having sex with you, but seems to think your interesting enough to be around for reasons other than the sex! Here's an idea: try letting it become deeper than just a "let's bang out our stress" kind of relationship. Who knows? You might actually discover you like being around him too.

'Be more available' makes it sound forced and unnatural. I'm saying you should do what feels good both physically and emotionally, if you enjoy being around him, then hang out with him. Just because you are FWB doesn't mean you can only have sex.

I have no idea because I don't know why kind of relationship you have with him. So, maybe the next time he wants to hang out, you can hang out instead of saying no? Oh, and since you're still relatively young, do yourself a favor and don't play the kind of games where you are worrying about the minutia of calling or texting first. Do what feels natural, and if that means calling or texting first, cool.
