Friends with sexual tension, is he stringing me along?

He came onto me, we were friends with sexual tension. I was completely into him. He eventually asked me out, we became exclusive. He moved away about 9 months later. We stayed together in a LDR. It’s been almost a year. Should I have let him go? He’s supposed to move back.

why do you put friends with sexual friends in the title, but that you are in an exclusive LDR in the text? You don't feel like it is serious? when is he suppose to move back? You need to decide for yourself what type of relationship you want, and if he can give you that.

We started out as just friends that led to friends with sexual tension. He eventually asked me out then we became exclusive. He moved and we stayed together. But he’s been telling me he was coming back. I believe that he is coming back soon. But I feel like he’s changed
