Should I call a guy who stood me up for a date and never called me to apologize?

I met this guy 4 months ago and we were in contact at least once per week. I would always hint to him that I would like for him to take me out but his excuse was that he has a hectic schedule. I finally got frustrated with him since I have only seen him once-the day we were introduced to each other by a mutual acquaintance and I have not seen him since.

He keeps promising that we would see each other soon but the one time that he asked me out on a date he never showed up. I called his phone twice the day of the date and he never answered. He has not contacted me since and it has been two weeks since we were supposed to go out.

This really puzzles me since we always talked on the phone as well as share emails. What should I do? Should I contact him and ask what is going on?

If he didn't even contact you to say what happened I wouldn't even try to contact him but this is easier said than done.

I got stood up last night and let me tell you it feels horrible! I am a pretty attractive girl who has no problem finding a date. This guy was pursuing me relentlessly for a few weeks before I finally gave him my number and we went out. Up until a couple of weeks ago he was the man of his word. He always text and called me even if I didn't call him back. So we have been seeing each other for almost two months and still didn't have sex yet. He wanted me to go out with him and his friends a few nights ago to a local bar. I thought that was sweet of him and I told him I'd meet him out. When I thought about it, I decided that I didn't want to tag along with him and his buddies so I told him I was too tired. He text me a couple of hours later and woke me up to say that he wanted to cook me dinner the next night at his apartment and had a great bottle of wine for us to try. He said I was an amazing person and he was so glad he met me. Obviously he was drunk but I accepted his invitation. I asked him what time (this is all texting) he didn't specify but said in the evening. Well...I never heard from him!

I was ready to even have sex with him that night for the first time. I was really upset but didn't call him. Instead I met a couple of my girlfriends out and I even met a good-looking guy and gave him my phone number.

He did end up texting me the next day and asked me what I was up to. I was so angry that I had erased his number from my cell phone. I did respond back today and text him "what did you do saturday?" He hasn't responded back. I am so tempted to text him again and say "Oh ok. Good thing I had made "just in case" plans and didn't stay home waiting on you. I'm really glad I got to know the REAL you. Have a nice life." Should I ?

Absolutely Not! Are you kidding? This guy is a jerk for treating you that way. You should never want to speak to him again. Who cares if it was 4 months? I would say 4 months wasted.

You can find a guy who wants to spend time with you and can't get enough of you. Not this loser who can't even pick up a phone. I would not contact him and if he contacted me after doing that? He better have amnesia and crutches. Forget the crutches that would still not be enough because he would be able to use the phone so I still would not forgive him.

I don't even know why you would even consider contacting him after what he did. If he can't apologize or even explain himself to you is he really someone you want to get to know better? If he was truly interested he would go out of his way to get a hold of you. He doesn't have time for you now because of his "hectic schedule" then he won't EVER have time for you.

Maybe you are just not catching the clue, honey. It seems to be pretty obvious that he just isn't into you in a romantic way. I would suggest leaving the guy alone. Maybe he'll call you sometime in the future but I think it's time for you to move on.
