My boyfriend says he misses me all the time, but he never text or call me?

So is this what most guys do? My bf says he misses me all the time, and in fact we do meet up quite a lot (about 4 times a week and every time he is the one who asks me out). But when we are not together he rarely texts/calls me despite he says he misses me. So is this a guy thing? If you miss someone do you show it?

If he misses you, a text doesn't help him.

Maybe for you, a text minimises the discomfort you feel from missing someone. But for me as a guy, and I presume for him, texting or calling doesn't make me feel better or stop me from missing the person. If anything, it makes it worse.

actually your guy is much better than me, i often forgets that i have a gf.it's a normal thing.
