My boyfriend always kisses me while I'm sleeping?

So recently for the past 2 months - we have been together for 5 months, I noticed when I sleepover at my boyfriends house, always when I'm half awake - he kisses me on my lips both for goodnight and good morning. Just want to know, what does this mean?

It's not that we are being affectionate all day long because we are, always. He hold my hands in the car or keeping his arm/hand between my legs, always holds around me when we are watching movie, hold hands, kiss me while his friends is there too, etc. So that'd not an issue. But just want to know.

It probably means he is very deeply affectionate for you? That seems to make the most sense if he's showing deep affection for you. This translates to that he is in love/head over heels with you, and might have that personality type that falls in love with every girl he meets. He may also turn needy, just a forewarning. But nothing's wrong so far. It seems like he is more emotional then you are if you do not show the same affection which is true because you are obviously asking this question. He sounds like the romantic or affectionate type. I don't think it is obsessive, but if your personalities don't match it could be a problem later on. He might be too clingy for you, and you might not be affectionate enough for him. If you don't have a problem with it, then I would say everything is fine.

I really apprecitate these things, myself is a romantic, so I'm really glad that I have found him. It's just I have never datet a guy that has done that to me before, so I guess it's a whole new experience to me, to feel very loved and wanted. But thank you for the input :)

It's because he adores you. There's no other explanation to be honest. Seems like he enjoys being affectionate physically and maybe he thinks kissing you like that is romantic. It is!

Your boyfriend is not obsessive love. He's just a very affectionate guy. If you feel it's too much for you then that's fair enough, just let him know and I'm sure he will try and back off a little but after saying that I would have to ask myself why it is I have a problem with someone being affectionate towards me?

That sounds... obsessive, sadly. Affection is great but... I've sort of heard these stories somewhere else before and that did not turn out so great.

Here's my actual thoughts. This was actually a previous question where this is how it started for a girl and then later her boyfriend would go to extremes. She'd force extra precautions on her, make her wear a seat-belt during a 2 minute drive. Arguably safer to wear a seat belt? Sure. Force her to wear it? Obviously no.

My point stems from that doing the process to seem more affectionate and almost parenting the other person, really rubs off like unhealthy behavior.

I hope most people downvoting this are not doing it because they feel hit.

I believe some people can be full on. There is no doubt about that but the majority of people appreciate their partner kissing them, especially before bed or when you wake up. It's a very nice wanted feeling. Hmmm, just think people like what they agree with and dislike what they don't. You won't be the first to have been down liked on a comment and you won't be the last. I would not take it personally. Whilst I agree with not forcing someone. Incidents like car seat belts is not just a safety measurement. If the police seen someone not wearing a seat belt, the driver may be fined. I think they would have been watching their back too. Also some people need guidance. Their our means and ways of doing this I know. You shouldn't always believe what you are told either. Some people exadurate.

I dont dislike affection! When the OP said "kisses me for goodnight and good morning" I thought of it as like he HAD to have that kiss, even if it was in an awkward position? Like if her back was turned he'd still have to somehow... I just thought the OP meant it as a bad thing, is what Im trying to say.
