Questions: Relationships

We were together and he was cheating. During that time I made a face at him and he said you’re so ugly and couldn’t stop laughing.

He is a narcissist and that’s something they do they completely disregard the current partner and make them seem less than trash in order to move on.

His own friends said the girl he cheated with was not better than me. Everyone agreed. Strangers on this etc.

We actually did have similar bodies. She was taller. And smaller boobs and smaller bum. But same dress size. I just had a much bigger bum and possibly a cup size bigger. But same size all over waist etc. arms.

She did have longer thicker hair. But other than that no one could say she was better in any way.

He even tried to defend it saying we were about the same. I wasn’t better and she wasn’t better.
Which definitely wasn’t true. He tried to say she just photographed really badly. But friends who seen her in person even said to him it’s not true she’s not better than me. He said I photo ugly too (never quite like how she did everyone has bad photos). And tried to say no you’re the same and claimed there was no difference between us.

She did look like his mum so maybe that creepy mummy issues thing going on?

boyfriend has told me about his family but up until recently I haven't met but one of them.. and I've met a small number of his closest friends. That's fine. Except now I've met more family and they seem to really like me and one in particular has invited me to a lot of family orientated functions. Something obviously I've been left out of so far. Two things. 1- Family is so important to me and he has known this. It makes me sad to see a glimpse of everything I've ever wanted knowing this isn't real. It's for the time being while they are here because he doesn't want this dynamic. If it wasn't for them coming to town and him wanting them to save money/show off i probably would have never met them. They are genuinely great and kind hearted people that like similar things as me too. 2- how do I navigate this situation so I don't lie to them about me attending these events but also not put their family out there that they just dont want me in their life to that extent?
