Is my uncle right for taking back the gifts he gave to me?

I was frying fish yesterday and my uncle just staring at my cooking and then I told him the food is only for us til evening he then hysterically got mad and called me selfish saying he's not even asking food he's just staring, he called me selfish and cursed me told me f you and then he demanded me to give him all the gifts he gave me so he went inside my room to take back all the gifts he gave me and told me I dont deserve to be given a gift or nice things from him anymore. He even guilt trip me he reminded me when he used to give me money I got mad also and reminded him that I always wash his dishes and that when he waz hospitalized Im the only one who took care of him. Because he's like reminding me " I did that for you" I did this " so I reminded him all the things I did for him too. Do you am I selfish? Is he right to demand all the gifts back?

Its like he called me selfish because I can't even give him fish when he's giving me money like that felt like his gifts has exchange in return like when he gifts he's expecting something in return of you. Plus he's always reminding you of how big or amount he give to you when you said no to him.

Sounds like a very immature and hot headed man. Let him take the gifts back and don’t accept any gifts from him from now on. If he’s going to use the gifts as leverage, and guilt trip you for no reason, and make the gifts transactional by saying “I did this and this for you, so you should do this and this for me”, then you shouldn’t accept anymore gifts from him. Gifts should be given without expectation of anything in return.

He also gave me money but Im planning to return all the money he gave to me once I earned it because I dont want to feel guilty.

Yeah you're Uncle obviously feels unappreciated in a deep way and is acting on it negatively.
I have to ask: why would you say that to him about the food? That's really an odd thing to say, and it sure kicked things off.

Lol Actually he doesn't have a job and is always everyday gambling going home without money and asking everyone for food and cigarette like a homeless person. Which annoys me because he has money for gambling not for food. Also Im a bad mood yesterday.

I don't know why but he lives with us he doesn't help us wash his own dishes either not helping fetch clean water ( we dont drink the tap) what annoys me is that when you say no to him is just he would remind you the gifts he gives you. I know because my mom said to me the food is only ours til evening its only 8 pieces. She bought it for 1 dollar. I dont have money to give him either. And I know he has money for gambling not for food which he always spend about $10 a day.
