He was mocking me cause I kept talking about how rich celebrities are.

He said if I earn enough to buy the things I need and want, there is no reason whatsoever for me want to become rich.

That there is no benefit to extreme wealth when you are happy, satisfied, healthy, loved, and secure.

I don't think he was right for mocking you, but I think what he says is true. Being rich and famous is stressful having everyone know about you and paparazzi chasing around trying to find out about your personal life. Having a good enough income or a good work life balance is better than being ultra famous and wealthy.

One of the things I found through my life celebrities can be rich and you think they're happy. I've learned also money does not buy happiness. Being rich with the spirit of God is better than being rich with gold and silver.
