Who has it so hard in the dating and relationship world:

- Sarah is just average (isn't that pretty, not even with make-up and she knows that) in looks and there is nothing she can do about it. She gets hit on by either average, broke, poor, or unattractive guys below her in looks or status. She's going to have to settle or continue being single.

- Michael is average or mediocre in looks and is poor. He will never be wealthy, has no exceptional skill compensating it and has no luck at all. He isn't getting hit on by anyone. His only single relationship lasted a couple months several years ago and he's been single since.

I found out recently that my boyfriend and his ex were still sending each other pictures of NSFW fan art for the first month of our relationship then stopped because they realised it was inappropriate.

For context they were in a long distance relationship and used to send each other NSFW fan art all the time. They broke up when we started dating and she ghosted him for 2 weeks, then when they started talking and hanging out online again they started sending the pictures again.

It's been over a year since this happened and they stopped but they still hang out online together often. I only found out that they used to date recently and then I found out about the pictures and i feel hurt and a bit betrayed.

I want to know if what they did is considered cheating or if it was just really inappropriate.

I'm not sure what to do and having some clarity on this might help me figure it out.

After talking to my boyfriend about it I've forgiven him and he has agreed to stop spending time alone with her and only to talk to her when she's hanging out with our mutual friends but I feel like I should confront her because she kept this from me and befriended me while sending these pictures to my boyfriend and not telling me about their relationship.

If you guys dont consider it cheating then I'll let it go and try to move on but if you do consider it cheating then I feel like I have a right to bring it up despite it being in the past and at the very least demand an apology from her and at worse cut ties with her completely. This whole situation really pains me because I did like her as a friend.

Do you even laugh the same or just acknowledge it passively? For me it depends what the joke is, lol.

A few friends / colleagues have set me up with their cousins or friends - and though I've been around say Egyptians & Indians and what not for a LONG time, been invited to Egypt, India and Saudi, etc. - I find myself with a negative ideology towards dating them.

I was raised consertatively - consertative dress, don't sleep around, etc., etc. - so it's not like I usually parade around half naked and they're demanding I cover up, I'm usually covered up.

My family, which has lived in India and Qatar, etc., has some Asiatic habits - e. g. kids looking after parents, etc. - and one of the reasons why I relate so well as friends and colleagues. But dating is more difficult than I thought; I find with some my mind is "can't stand" them.

I have very few friends left but I don't really mind. I think most friends are either temporary or toxic or at least that's my experience with them so far.

I've got some friends left - we mostly chat online, some live abroad and the others are often busy with their own lives...

Thankfully, I have found a guy who seems to enjoy spending time with me. We text each other when we are both at work, after work we go see each other (hand in hand, always), spend time together. We still do not officially live together but I tend to be over at his place more than back home with my family. When he feels like it (and I do as well), he takes me with him everywhere even when going out with his friends even though they're all guys.

Some of my friends (acquaintances more like) say it's wrong to be with each other so often, but if it works for us, is it truly such a bad thing?

I also see and read articles about this "issue" online.

And just to clarify more, I don't have many hobbies except the very basic simple ones (baking, movies, TV Shows, going to the cinema, eating out, car drives... sleeping & cuddling). I just prefer to do the stuff I like to do with my man ♥

Your feelings for said person were present prior to the relationship you are in now (with someone else) and are still present/consistent is that ok/fair to your current partner?

Why do some people enter into relationships while having equal to or stronger feelings for someone else they already have/had in their lives?
