So more men want kids than those that don't want?

Things got serious too much. Now he's thinking of leaving me and isn't sure of wanting to continue the relationship. Never expected that reaction to be honest. Caught me by surprise. I posted yesterday about it but the prank was done last week.

Just because I played a pregnancy prank on him doesn't mean I never want kids. I do someday but I'm definitely not one bit ready at this moment. Is he overreacting?

I planned a spa break away and trip away with my boyfriend of 2 years. We are leaving early tomorrow morning and he is so drunk I can’t be sure he won’t be tomorrow. I’m so anxious, should I cancel the trip or go alone? Please help , hate to be in this situation!! Thanks x

My boyfriend spoke to me this morning about a future of being married and kids. I love my relationship with my family and would want to have that someday with my kids. But I have never ever romanticized being pregnant. I horrible cramps. Sometimes they make me google on how to remove my ovaries. They are so painful sometimes, I’m throwing up I can’t sleep well excessive cravings that make me moody😔 and I’m often irritated. This is me once a week every month. And just the cramps pain makes me not want to even venture into being pregnant. I have a low pain tolerance😔 I was with my aunt when she was pregnant and that wasn’t looking like what I’d want to go through. The heartburn swollen feet the anxiety of if your baby is okay. Then the entire pain that comes with delivery and also the thought of postpartum depression or getting blind or loosing my teeth. it’s so scary to me. I was telling him if when we were ready and we had enough money for surrogacy i would rather do that. Or we could adopt. Maybe down the line knowing I have a supportive partner would help calm my fears. Till then I’m still so scared.🥺 he was so understanding and calm when I spoke about my fears. He does want his own kids but he was telling me that he doesn’t want us to argue especially when it’s my body 🥺 and we could always find a way around it when we were ready.

I was 16 weeks into my pregnancy when I decided I didn't want to have a baby. I know I should've thought it through before having unprotected sex, but I thought a little too late. I didn't want to drag an innocent soul into a world where I couldn't give it all it needed/wanted. I thought about putting it up for adoption, but possibly not knowing the home it would end up in worried me. That's when I turned to the only option that was somewhat comforting; abortion.

Without telling a soul, including the father, I went to the doctors and was soon prescribed abortion pills. I took them like so, and I was no longer pregnant.

A few days later, my boyfriend came to see me, in which I really didn't want him to, but this was something I couldn't hide from him forever. I knew he was excited to be a father. It was one of the first things he talked about when we started dating. Now, as you'd expect, he was severely upset and now he doesn't want to talk to me at all. The last time I heard from him was 2 weeks ago, and the last thing he told me was that I was irresponsible, that I'm a liar, that he hated me.

I feel as if what I did was wrong, and I think that I should just stay away from him, but I don't want us to end on such bad terms. I don't know if I can say anything that would trigger his forgiveness.

In this story some man's girlfriend didn't accept his proposal for these reasons:

Finding out it was a real proposal and seeing the proof was the only reason she came back. She's putting things on hold at this moment, wants me to keep the ring and ask again in a year from now. She'll make a final decision by then. If she's ready sooner, she'll tell me to ask again but for the meantime only refer to her as my girlfriend.

She can't accept it now due to my past pranking history and carefree attitude. She pointed out that a month before the hurtful proposal prank that made her feel insecured in the relationship, I've made jokes about having Covid too (faking coughing) and acted inconsiderate towards others, had a history of sometimes being late to our dates, sometimes delay on paying some bills and doing things at the last minute even when I had enough time. Meanwhile I've stopped doing pranks and improving, she said I need to change more before she considers marriage. I admit, I was unpunctual with my last bill last month. Lastly, she doesn't really care about the ring nor the cost but thought my proposal was lame and it lacked creativity and enthusiasm, as if I wasn't even trying. She couldn't understand why I was creative with the fake proposal but couldn't do the same with the real proposal, put more effort into it.

She doesn't want to marry him. She's postponing things. He pranked a proposal once and hurt her but when he did it for real, she wasn't excited anymore.

Help in anyway that they need. Sometimes to just be there when they do it.

Hey everyone so my boyfriend left me 2 weeks ago for personal problems. He was tired, sad, and felt bored. He swore I was not the issue and has made an effort to stay friends. the first week of being friends we hung out, held hands, kissed etc. It was like we were dating with no label and we both agreed it needed to stop. So we did. He didn't know what he wanted, he said he felt numb and depressed. A few nights ago he said leaving me made him feel even worse and that I was not the issue at all but that he knew he couldn't get into a relationship with me until he figured out his issue. He said he wanted to prioritize his mental health. I was super upset but also really understanding. I have gone minimal contact with him for about 2 days now and have done my best to give him space and distance to figure out his life. Today he invited me to dinner, said he had an extremely hard day and wanted a hug and to see me. I understand we broke up but we have love for each other and he has stayed loyal completely anyways. Do I go and risk getting my hopes up? Do I go and remind myself its just a friend and not expect anything. Or, do I say no and risk him being upset or thinking i've moved on.
