If you're suspicious of your partner cheating on you just because they have a friend of the opposite gender, then you shouldn't be with your partner. They are free to be with friends with whoever they want but if they've never done anything to break your trust, and you're still suspicious then that's a self esteem issue and it's controlling to tell someone who they can't hang out with. On the other hand, if your partner has done something to break your trust, cut off the relationship or else you'll constantly be worried that they're breaking your trust when they talk to anybody. And that feeling of paranoia will ruin your life so do yourself a favor by not being in a relationship with a cheater/not committing to a relationship if you have insecurities you need to address first so that they don't affect a relationship. (Not speaking directly to you, just in general). 🙂
Then they are the one who is not mature enough to be in a committed relationship at this time. Just let them know that you're still trying to heal from the hurt they caused you and that you don't think you should have to heal from that all while hoping their not still lying to you because then the healing process is never ending and that's not fair to you.
