Do you think guys and girls can truly just be friends?

Of course they can be. And what about if the girl isn't attractive? Also can't one find a girl attractive but not want to be with her?
It's very easy to do.
Though it's easier if single and already like each other might aswell just see where it goes. But if both truly adamant there just friends yes it happens.

Also if it didn't work, then wouldn't that mean every girlfriend and boyfriend are cheaters no matter what unless they completely stop interacting with other's just in case they become attracted to each other? Not how that works lol.

I agree with both. Even if there is attraction, it doesn't mean you can't still be just friends. I've had one for close to 30 years, and yes I did like her initially, but we've remained friends and only been friends.

Yes, they can absolutely be friends without any romantic feelings. One of my best friends is a guy. Never had a single issue.

He's definutely straight. He's also friends with my best friend who is also a girl. They are both straight people and have never done anything together romantically in the 6 years we've all been friends.

It isn't some fantasy stuff. Mature people can be friends with the opposite sex.

Yeah, if the guy ain't a bad person who wants something from the relationship. I personally come of as socially awkward sometimes so people may get the wrong idea but no. There's no problem w/ guy & girl friends

Of course they can. Only time I would not recommend it is after a romantic relationship. It gets too awkward with their next relationships.
