The answer depends probably on the age of persons answering. When I was young it did not matter whether a girl would be younger or older. The woman I met when I was 25 was nevertheless 12 years older, and that has never been a problem. Circumstances decided. Now I'm rather old (68), and I would prefer a woman a few years younger. But still, if the contact feels right, a few years more do not matter.

Older but not by much. I do not need a young naive college girl and everything that goes along with that in my life. All that is in the past I'd prefer someone who felt the same and they're going to be older

When I was in my twenties I dated older. I dated my age all the way to 51.

I married my same age. It's easy and convenient, having lived the same era, and you age at about the same pace.

If I wasn't married, I could see myself dating younger now. Men really hit their stride starting late twenties, I have found. Anytime after that they can start becoming interesting and good company.

Depends on whether they're an immature person because I'd honest rather date someone younger who isn't too immature than a old prat which a lot of the older people I know irl are lol. Ig this would make more sense when I'm older since I'm still only 17. 😶

My husband is younger then me and I enjoy that dynamic. I'd never get with a older guy just cuz I wouldn't want to be alone for a long time once they die since men die sooner than women

I'm married to a man 15 years younger and it's easily the best relationship of my life. At first I thought the age gap would be a problem, but it's really not. If anything there are quite a few positives. He's more adventurous and energetic (and can match my energy much better than men my age), he has less relationship baggage (and is more optimistic about our relationship), he's more open minded/supportive of my career/not intimidated by my professional success, he makes me feel younger (in all the best ways), it's incredibly flattering he finds me super attractive he's got a smoking hot muscular body, his sex drive is compatible with mine (as opposed to men my age who have lower sex drives from my experience), and (of course) he gets harder and recovers faster.

I don't honestly care as long as their personality and maturity levels are compatible with mine. If it's younger, obviously not TOO young though. My limit is 4 years younger (21). Anything younger is a child to me.

Generally speaking I go older as I feel like for the most part older guys know what they want in life and 90% won't mess you around if you're a good fit for them and are more likely to be straight with you if your not and won't waste your time.

My longest relationship was with someone younger though and I found being him a lot more stressful. He lied, cheated, and messed me around for years before we broke up
