So, my boyfriend almost NEVER gets mail.

He has all his bills come digitally, never writes letters, has a NO JUNK MAIL sign on the mail box.

Anyway, a letter came today, from a girl I didn't know, smelling of perfume, and well I kinda had some suspicions, so opened it to see what it was.

It was just a wedding invitation from his cousin, so I was kinda relieved.

However, when he came home and saw the open letter, he flipped, told me I had NO business invading his privacy like that, plus that it's also against the law.

FFS, it was just one letter, a wedding invitation, and I had a legit reason, I thought it might be another woman (he doesn't share his passwords with me so I don't know who he talks).

Am I right or do I owe him an apology? I don't think I do.

Out of curiosity, I wonder how attractive being friendly is. Of course everyone wants their partner to be friendly to them, but what about when it comes to strangers and people in general. On a scale of one word responses to hugging, how friendly do you prefer a woman to be?

Scenario #1: A stranger that looks like they aren't in great condition comes up and ask for help/resources

• Very friendly: The woman gives plenty of help/resources or anything she doesn't truly need that the stranger needs more than her
• Friendly: The woman gives some help/resources (if she can) that will help the stranger out to an extent
• Neutral: The woman may or may not offer help/resources to the stranger depending on the mood/circumstances of the day
• Reserved: The woman turns down the stranger/doesn't offer help/resources

Scenario #2: A co-worker comes up to the woman with some papers

• Very friendly: The woman cheerfully greets the co-worker, chats, asks if there's anything she can do for the co-worker, then proceeds to get done what the co-worker had in mind.
• Friendly: The woman greets the co-worker and participates in small talk, asks the co-worker what's up, then proceeds to get done what the co-worker had in mind.
• Neutral: The woman asks the co-worker what's up and then proceeds to get done what the co-worker had in mind.
• Reserved: The woman ignores the co-worker's presence until the co-worker grabs her attention. She then proceeds to get done what the co-worker had in mind.

I know this is kind of a weird lengthy question but let me know your opinion! :) I would say I'm somewhere between neutral-friendly with people in general.

I have started working at this restaurant for almost about a year and recently I met this wonderful guy that I found out worked seasonally because of his schooling at Indiana University. Do keep in mind that I am the shy, quiet, and introverted person. He started talking to me the first day I met him. He is a friendly guy and I am honestly surprised by how much I actually opened up to him within the expand of a couple of months. I felt like he and I became really good friends on the spot. We tell each other stories, jokes, work related stuff, and have really good conversations for the most part. Now eavesdropping on a coworker talking to my crush I found out about his girlfriend. This felt like a stab in the chest because he and I get along so well and I was starting to think that it was eventually going to blossom into something more than friendship eventually. He never once mentioned his girlfriend to me no matter what we talked about at work, and I can never understand why. The other day he stopped by at my work on his day off with some of his friends including his girlfriend, I casually said hi to him and talked with him a little bit before he went to go sit down with his friends and girlfriend he told me that he was hanging out with some friends and never mentioned his girlfriend. Maybe I am over thinking things but I can’t tell if he is just being friendly or if he is just secretly attracted to me in some way. Whenever I would say hi to him his face lights up, he would look me in my eyes for a long period of time whenever I talk to him, he is always smiling at me, he complimented how smart I was the other day, he is either making me smile or laugh, he is always saying hi and bye to me before and after work, and sometimes I would feel like he would act nervous around me or avoid me even though he and I are good friends. Why would he act this way even when he has a girlfriend? Is it attraction? Is he just being friendly and I am overthinking? Please help.

It was only one time and a horrible accident. I regret is so much. My boyfriend is so sweet, handsome and kind. He didn’t deserve it and I feel so bad sometimes. He has the most gorgeous green eyes and I tell him all the time that I wouldn’t ever make them cry or do anything to hurt him. It would be backstabbing and hypocritical of me to tell him the truth of what I did. I can’t tell him. It was just once and a mistake that won’t ever happen again. He is so sweet and caring of me. I can’t lose him.

My boyfriend and I have been dating for 2.5 years, and he had some trouble in the past with this relationship. I am very patient with him, yet he seems to disappoint me by his actions for lack of better terms. For example, we decided (more his idea than mine) to start couple's counseling over 2 months ago. Yet, we haven't started it. Why? His reason is that he's working and doesn't have time to send the required information off to get us started. I remind him every other day about it, and he still doesn't do anything on his end to begin it even though I'm ready, I offered to help him myself, send his information off for him, and he declined.

Recently, I needed assistance to pay for my new phone since my old one had broken badly. I was going to do it by myself and asked him, "if I needed help, will you be there for me" and he said, "yes." But, I couldn't access my online bank since I kept getting the password wrong and asked him to lend me money which I'll pay him back for whenever I get my phone. He said sure and then backed out, saying I was rude/mean/ungrateful/disrespectful when I didn't even say anything. I was taken aback regarding his behavior since he didn't keep his word, and that has been his issue for a long time. I ended up calling an old friend and she helped me get the phone. He apologized for his actions after telling him my friend assisted me, saying he had a bad day at work. I spent so much money on him in the past, regardless of his behavior, to make him happy and be the most reliable person for him.

He said that he's going to spending >1/2 of his earnings on me and that I should behave differently. I told him to keep his money if he doesn't want to spend it; I never ask him for money unless I really need it. It felt like he wanted to be powerful/control the situation to his advantage since I'm the one asking, and I'll be damned to be controlled again since I was sexually assaulted in the past by being controlled for 1.5 years. What do you think?

A lot of people cheat. Does that make it not that bad? I think it's really bad still but I want to see what you all think. No judgment here. For this poll's purpose, cheating is when sex happens with someone else and you know it would break someone's heart.

Please don't select 10 though unless you really think it's just as bad as the worst possible things like torturing someone in a demented way and eventually killing.

Obviously, I'm talking about couples that live together.
Do you think it's important for couples to go to bed at the same time? Do you prefer to go to bed whenever your partner does and vice versa, even if you know you're probably not going to fall asleep for a while?
