My cousin is like this. She is friendly & outgoing with an unshakeable "rock" solid (as in nothing appears to rattle, upset her, etc.) personality to most people. But she's actually quite sensitive regarding the behavior of friends/family (e. g. she may not burst into tears right then but I've caught her crying at the computer).

I noticed this with a guy I like I'm getting to know. He's patient, even indulgent, when I ask something of him (and helpful).

Ps. If it seems a stupid question I'm not American. Different cultures have slightly different cues for interest.

We have been friends with benefits since fall 2018. We were friends before that. He made a move one day and it's become an ongoing thing. We've been monogamous. We said we'd stop if we start seeing someone else. He's hasn't. We spend a lot of time together. We've grabbed food and drinks, we've gone for drives, we've gone on hikes too. We have conversations about ourselves. We always get intimate because we can't keep our hands off eachother. I've met friends when he took me golfing one day. He said he didn't know they were there even though he goes with them every Sunday. He said they liked me. I haven't met his family. His sister has seen me before when he invited me over to his house one day to help him/keep him company while he worked on his construction project. She was home but I wasn't formally introduced. She was waiting for me in the front bay window when I arrived. But left when I went inside. He said it felt weird having me over. His parents weren't home but they are rarely home anyways. He has stayed the night at my house before. He sleeps over when my parents are on vacation. He stayed this past weekend. He arrived from his vacation that same day so he went home to drop off his luggage, shower, grab some things and came straight over. He was messaging me a lot throughout his vacation, telling me what he was doing and showing me pictures. When he stayed over, we drank, played games and watched a tv and were sexually intimate a few times throughout the evening. He fell asleep spooning me on the couch. I had to wake him up so we could go my bed. When we got there he continued spooning me and fell asleep again. He woke up in the middle of the night, he caressed me awake and we were intimate then fell asleep for a few more hours. When we woke up, he watched tv and I made him breakfast - waffles from scratch. We continued watching tv until he left to go home. He also brought me back a souvenir.

He wanted to do sex chatting with me. But I don't want any relationship.

1) He has no nudes or suggestive photos of me.
2 ) Doesn't even know my full name if he even knows my first.
3) He thinks it will make my boyfriend leave me. Idiot. I am not even afraid.
4) He may be bluffing.
5) He doesn't know anything about my boyfriend (he said maybe lies that his dad is in the army and will get my boyfriend fired when I lied and told him my boyfriend is a police and I will report him.) I lied finally saying I don't have a boyfriend. So he doesn't know what is true.
6) I have a foreign cell number and residence from where my perpetrator and my boyfriend both live
7) I wanted to share with my boyfriend how I felt insulted and the screenshots... just to connect with my boyfriend... I think couples do this... but maybe he may prefer not to know or I should not make him worry about it.. unless the silly blackmail gets real.

Saw a post ( Guys, what is your favourite hair length for a women?) and the votes are overwhelmingly straight. So curious as to why.

Is it a racist thing? Curly hair = African

Is it some cultural thing? I know there are Jews who straighten their hair because of discrimination so it is a related cultural thing?

Is it some jealousy/insecurity thing? Straight hair is uniform (even, in ways, bland) compared to waves or curls so do you perceive straight hair = less interest/competition?

Is it a byproduct of mama straightening her hair? If you grew up with a mother/siblings/aunt who straightened her hair maybe you grew up perceiving straight = good.

Is it a social media thing? I know people, particularly younger and/or insecure ones, depend heavily on social media for their perception of what's attractive so is it that?

If you thought that talking about music a lot was a bad habit of mine 😂 ... yea apparently I love to talk about myself. Like i’ll let you have the floor BUT when you ask me something about myself 🙃 you won't be getting the mic back for a while. I know i talk too much and i have a hard time stopping myself. Occasionally i’ll ask something about you in return but its probably just me using it as a breather or a reason to talk about how i relate to whatever I asked you about. I know... i’m bad lol. But at the same time i want to date someone who can also hold a convo. HOWEVER i need for them to be a tad bit more of a listener than a talker so that we balance eachother out without annoying one another :) i mean i’ve dated talkers before and lordy we were fighting for the floor. We kept cutting eachother off and it was pissing me off. I would purposely dodge one friends call cause he talked too much 😂 I felt claustrophobic af cause he’d never let me get a word in and he’d yap for like 2 hours straight. I’d mute the phone and cuss and cry 🤣 One of my friends told ne that i was only allowed to call her if i didn't talk about myself for that whole convo... yea we didn't say friends much longer after. But hey its her fault for always saying “I have nothing to talk about, tell me about your day” (hehe greenlight!). Me writing this is just a summary Of how much i talk haha. Anyways, what about you?

Last night my boyfriend took me to Hooters for a beer after work. He talked super long with the waitress each time she came. Later when I went to the bathroom when I came back they were chatting and as soon as I sat down, she left. Later when she came back he asked her if he could buy her a shot and invited her to hang out on Thursday at another pub we go to because she doesn't work on Thursdays.

i know I dont have a say in this. my boyfriend tells me these things and I dont want him to feel like he can't share to me whats happening around him, but this is bothering me. when he told me, I've pretended like it doesn't.

can I at least point it out to him how morally wrong this is? he knows its wrong but he talks about it like it's not. his friend's girlfriend cheated on the relationship first. I guess thats one of the reasons why he's totally okay with this. which I know is still wrong. he really doesn't like his friend's girlfriend (all his friends dont). worse is his friend's girlfriend is a friend to me, too. of course I met her because of my boyfriend. we're not close, but we've had good times. what do I do? should I do anything? say anything?

honestly, it bothers me more that the fact my boyfriend is one of those people who tolerates their friends of cheating. I don't know.

I tend to look directly at peoples eyes while talking and maintain eye contact. I can see that this makes some people uncomfortable. Has this happened to you? Or are you the type of person who makes casual contact?
