Many people when in their 20's tend to hold on very strongly without compromise to what they find physically attractive and tend to not pay much interest in other traits (such as loyalty, honesty, sanity, abusive behavior, controlling behavior etc).

So you may find a girl who would not compromise and only want to date guys over 6'0 or who were taller than them and basically did not want to give short guys a chance until she finds herself single in her late 20's and 30's because she puts too much fluff on the superficial and less on substance that would make a relationship healthy.

[In the movie, I can't hardly wait. Preston (guy above) obsessed over Jennifer Love Hewitt (Amanda) and only realize he was chasing a dream when he found out he really didn't know anything about her, and they had no chemistry. And the girl who was his friend that he ignored for nearly the entire film was the girl who was right for him in the end and lead to a stable relationship.]

Similar, guys who only wanted to chase after the hot girl because they thought doing that would help improve their self esteem and they continuous get rejected, cheated on, or dumped because they did not look for other traits other than the superficial.

Even in cases where men and women have preferences and find X race least attractive. Many people are willing to come around in their 30's and give someone of that race a chance at dating/relationship.

But with everything in life, as we move on through we accumulate emotional, mental baggage and become jaded about relationship. Many of these people who are giving more people a chance to date them and commit to them but they are damaged in some way or the other.

Poll Question: Do you think people who find themselves in their late 20's and 30's because they held onto superficial traits in partner and were picky deserve to get into a relationship with someone who they would not have given a chance for most of their 20's?

So i'm not friends with my ex on Facebook and I read that the first name that comes up is like who's looking you up, I searched the first letter of his name and he came up, I put in his middle initial, he came up, I put in the letter of his last name, he came up.
I find that I find my exes in the search bar even when I don't look at their profiles
A friend is friends with my ex (a different ex) and when I search my friend, my ex comes up and were not friends either.

Is this a real thing?

You meet a female doctor who is funny, adventurous and has a personality. However, her work schedule is crazy and she works 80 hrs a week. Would you still consider dating her?

This guy I'm seeing keeps in contact with a girl whom we both know (she's super pretty) anyway she informed me how the texting got abit too much and he's now flirting with her, I confronted him and he admitted it and said he's gona delete her num. but this morning the girl told me he texted her again, I confronted him again and he says I'm overreacting and she's just a friend.
Advice please

My fiance and I of 8 years have been having a lot of trouble in our relationship. There was a lot of damage done on both ends and honestly I just want to be alone for a while. I just need to be by myself because we got together when I was 17 and ended up having a baby at 19 and I have been living the house wife life ever since. Just recently, a friend of mine kind of made me realize that I lost myself while trying to grow up so quickly. I gave up everything that made me happy and just lived my life in accordance to my fiance and children, I'm not talking about parties and booze either. They are things that I could (and am starting to) incorporate into my families life. Once I realized this I was so much happier, but that happiness also caused me to sort of drift from my partner. I had lived my entire life around him and now that I realized I needed my own identity, he was confused and things started to become very conflicting. I wanted to plan camping trips and go outside all the time, where he refused to help and hated camping. I wanted to become more active and put the kids in a variety of sports, but he didn't see the point. I wanted to pursue a career and he felt I should be working on getting a job that could help us get into a house. (We live in an apartment) Our goals and ideals were conflicting. This happened and that happened. Things were said, feelings were hurt, and we are left at a point where I am so confused as to whether or not we are even good for each other anymore. I want to be alone so I can figure out what I actually feel for him. But I don't want to end our relationship. I don't want to sleep with other men, I just want to be alone. Does taking a break ever work? I don't want him to think I'm just trying to find an easy way to break up.

Me and my boyfriend have been together for 4 months and my mom doesn't like him because she thinks he's not the one for me plus she thinks he's cheap because she wants him to give me a lot of money every week. She hasn't spoken to me for 3 days and ever since I started dating him she stopped supporting me financially, (I am seeking a part time job while I still go to college, just haven't found one as yet). 20 year old female feeling stressed.

Why Does This boy in my class annoy me?
Hello, I just wanted to ask why this boy in my class annoys me so much. I was going to ask him. But, Unfortunately it won't go very well. I heard he fancied me and he did try asking me out the first time. I said I'll think about it. "I'm not in a good mood right now". Maybe this is the reason why he's annoying me. In my lessons noise like he wants to evomitting does this sound.

I really would like to know about his feelings. I'm just curious and I could ask him. He annoys me and we don't get along just don't like him. Before I got moved to X band I used to argue with boys. I still argue with this boy he is so annoying. I need to know why.
I really dislike him because he annoys the girls and boys in class. He's in My English class too Aswell As Religious Education. Can you please Help me?
