The way I interpret this verse on a good measure that is shaken together is that giving people more social credit than the deserve leads to you being blessed beyond what you deserve so you must error on the side of optimism and not pessimism when dealing with those around you because giving due respect or mor respect that deserved leads to reward while giving less respect than expected or required leads to your condemnation or social reduction in life.

I like this verse very much. I do believe that judging a person is wrong but judging their actions are ok. We never know what is in someone's heart. I believe Jesus means give as in love and kindness. The more we refresh others the more we are refreshed! It is in proverbs.

I feel like it's good to reward those that do good things rather than reward those that do bad. It's simple logic but profound when you put it into practice
