Why it’s important to think well of others - Bible Talk

The bible says when you view others with gracious, compassionate, understanding and patient judgment, that you will be viewed with gracious, compassionate, understanding and patient judgment and when you give others credit for their righteous deeds and forgiveness for their bad ones, that God gives you credit for your righteousness deeds and forgiveness for your bad ones, even Solomon says in proverbs that those who have a bountiful eye will be blessed, so when you value and consider others, God values and considers you and when you respect others, people will respect you, if you continue to seek and serve God and practice justice in your social dealings with people.

For lots of reasons, one of which, it just keeps you less stressed, kinder, happier, etc. To think well of others, specifically that most people you meet are good people and have mostly honest and positive intentions towards you, allows you to live in a somewhat peaceful state where you feel less of the above (stress, anger, sadness, disappointment, etc.) Consistently experiencing or feeling these emotions has horrible effects on one’s life and health.

It kind of shows that people copy eacothers behaviour in a way. Like if I'm kind you may be kind back and God takes a good view of these kinds of interactions among people

Very true. It is hard to not be kind to someone who is so kind to you. You feel bad if you aren't. But if you are kind to someone who is mean it is so freeing. You never have to feel the weight of hate. And you feel proud in your ability to do that. But the Bible at a surface level is talking about the laws. What you give you will get back. Like if you are focused and grateful for what you have you will get more of what you have. More to be grateful for. But if you are not grateful then you will not get more to be grateful for and you will lose what you fail to be grateful for. Same with prayer if you ask God for something but have doubt then he will give you more doubt by not answering. Because that is what you asked for. Many more examples of his laws.

I designed the entire science curriculums for the school I taught at for the 3 through 6 grades. I designed several writing curriculums for my class. I designed several model rockets when I was a kid, some of which worked rather well. I wrote a piano piece back in the 5th grade about rolling swells. I've long lost the manuscript and I can't really remember the piece other than it had a lot of arpeggios.
