Why you should be merciful - bible talk

Jesus said a man who can be trusted with very little can be trusted with very much and a man untrustworthy with very little is untrustworthy with very much.

The little is your life and social influences, the much is your eternal and everlasting goal, if you want to be merciful about big things like heaven and hell, you must be merciful with small things like feelings and health requirements and moral regularities in daily social conduct.

People think that mercy involves salvation from hell but the bible says God cares about every single hair on your head. When you take care of others physically and socially and emotionally and morally, God takes care of not only your life after death, but also your life on earth.

If your life script says you are supposed to get cancer, God might change that to clinical depression. If your life script says you will be killed, God might change that to you will be humiliated. If your life script says you will be jobless, God might change that to you will be underemployed and if your life script says you will be in a wheelchair, God might change that to, you will have sore feet at work etc...

I know many merciful people through church that God has blessed tremendously and their blessings were often divided according to their area of need, those concerned with the loneliness of others, were given amazing families, those concerned with their reputation became good looking doctors, those concerned with protecting helpless people became barricaded millionaires.

You cannot always acquire perfection with mercy but you can improve the life you inherited by your genes and your environment and you can dictate the life you will receive after death by practicing mercy towards others. The bible says kindness is a gift you offer yourself because you will be rewarded for it. And likewise cruelty is a punishment you give yourself because you will be burdened by it.

This is why you should always try your best to show mercy towards others.

As a devout Christian, I believe we should be merciful because if we don't, God won't like us, and then we'll burn in hell.

I have a question for you if you don't mind, I mean I read the bible, but probably God really hates my guts that's why I read most of it from the old testament 😂. And I heard Kenneth Copeland say the promise of Jesus is great wealth like his, and since I did I wanted to convert right away. Anyway.
Is the concept if heaven and hell, literal or figurative? And what do you think of Christians who do not believe in a literal hell or heaven?

Since heaven and hell exist in the spiritual realm and not in the physical, it could be both literal and figurative but that does not mean the Suffering is imaginary or the blessing is non existent - It’s still experienced in a very real way but might not be objectively real in itself

That is beautiful. So what we are saying is, Justice is all what the afterlife is about according to the Christian belief. And not the threatening and the temptation in order to change our behaviour?

There is punishment but also forgiveness and reward and blessing - I think pastors do people a disservice when they overemphasis the bad - a guy once told me what you fixate on becomes who you are so if you want to go higher, you have to fixate on higher things.

The dilemma is what Shakespeare once said "in the course of justice, none of us shall see salvation". It is that both mercy and justice is good but they're decoherent to one another.
So this is what freaked me out about Islam, I mean the flaws in philosophy, it is a story of a woman who locked up a cat in a room until she died, then she went to hell. And another story of a guy who killed 100 men, so he goes to heaven because he wanted to repent. And so, this was unacceptable because a cat's life weighed more than 100 men, According to God's logic.

For you honestly as a Christian, who do you think deserves mercy more, the guy who killed 100 men then repented. Or the woman who killed a cat?

In Christianity repentance is often conditional on atonement because God operates by common sense and isn’t stupid or unfair. A man cannot possibly atone for killing 100 people with the time he has on earth, even punching somebody in the stomach could require 20 years of suffering to atone for - if it is even forgiven at all. In the Old Testament God says he delivers but also punished in just measure and does not let you go totally Scott free and in other parts it says God does not forgive without reasonable or justifiable cause. Like God might forgive a man for murder if the person he killed was his daughters rapist, God might forgive a man for raping a 14 year old if the 14 year old had already raped a 2 year old and this was punishment for his deed, God might forgive a man for running somebody over with a car if he had a heart attack and blacked out when it happened. The bible says God does not forgive without reasonable cause.

So if the sin is based on revange. It is still forgivable.

If the sin is based on reasonable triggers and atonement is made than punishment can be erased or reduces

And is that because of God's understanding to human nature. Correct me if I am wrong. because I understand the holy spirit as a hyper dimensional entity something like the unified field or the grand matrix. And in Christian philosophy through Jesus it understands our biggest motives to abandon justice or abandon mercy for fear and temptation taking Peter and Juda as an example..
