Well that's the problem. There's no way to know whether it's true or not yet you act as if you are certain the Bible contains the word of God when, being that it was written by men, it almost certainly is not.

The law said, sex outside of marriage is punishable by death. Marriage was between a man and a woman.
This meant in practice, no homosexual behaviour, no sex outside of wedlock, no sex with animals etc. etc..
The unmarried heterosexual sex you find in the Old Testament, doesn't have the consent of God and is contrary to his laws.
I do not know why so many people have a hard time distinguishing between, description of what happens and condoning what happened.
If a writer, writes a book about the holocaust stating what happened, does it makes him a Nazi then? Of course not, in the same manner, God doesn't approve of all the things done as described in the Old Testament just because he wanted it documents for us to read. It is an absurd idea.

@tstrbrainer I am an expert theologian, and know the Bible very well, as I do church history.
However, I do not like to state qualifications as I am opposed to assertion through authority. Nonetheless, theologians, in general, are very bias, so being one doesn't prove mutch.

Actually, the Bible does not say do not judge. But rather, how to judge, went to and when not to judge, and on what basis to judge.

We all judge all the time anyway, our very survival depends on it, so you do it too. Whenever you disagree with someone based on religion or politics, you judge to some degree.
