Common misconceptions about what the Bible teaches

I have noticed a lot identifies as Christians while lacking the basic understanding of what the Bible actually teaches.
This is, of course, very understandable since most people have been thought by Churches with there own doctrines and political agenda.
I won't repeat anything about the trinity since it already been done here:

Trinity the central dogma of almost every Christian denomination

Hell

The word "hell" is found in many Bible translations. The same verses are also by others translated to "the grave", "the world of the dead" and so forth. The Hebrew she’ohlʹ and its Greek equivalent haiʹdes, which refer, not to an individual burial place, but to the common grave of dead mankind; also the Greek geʹen·na, which is used as a symbol of eternal destruction. However, both in Christendom and in many non-Christian religions it is taught that hell is a place inhabited by demons and where the wicked, after death, are punished (and some believe that this is with torment).

Ecclesiastes 9:5 21st Century King James Version (KJ21)
"5 For the living know that they shall die; but the dead know not anything, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten."

Psalm 146:4 21st Century King James Version (KJ21)
"4 His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish."

Ezekiel 18:4 21st Century King James Version (KJ21)
"4 Behold, all souls are Mine. As the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is Mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die."

If they are conscious of nothing, they obviously feel no pain, the Bible makes it clear that Sheol or hell is not a place of eternal torment or punishment of eternal soles. The soul shall die as well, so the is no eternal soles, this too is unbiblical.

The Encyclopedia Americana (1942), Vol. XIV, p. 81
“Much confusion and misunderstanding has been caused through the early translators of the Bible persistently rendering the Hebrew Sheol and the Greek Hades and Gehenna by the word hell. The simple transliteration of these words by the translators of the revised editions of the Bible has not sufficed to appreciably clear up this confusion and misconception.”

A lot more can be said, however, this should suffice for those who want to seek more knowledge about the subject.

How to stand before the God almighty with the name Jave or Jehovah

Another common misconception about forgiveness, will God forgive everything, can you will as you please and be a good human and live or will Jehovah judge you based on how you live your life, your intention and attitude!

We are all sinners and the sin leads to death

Romans 6:23 21st Century King James Version (KJ21)
"23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

So how do we get eternal life through Jesus Christ, let see what Jesus said:

Matthew 19:16-25 21st Century King James Version (KJ21)
"16 And behold, one came and said unto Him, “Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?”

17 And He said unto him, “Why callest thou Me good? There is none good but One, that is, God. But if thou wilt enter into Life, keep the commandments.”

18 He said unto Him, “Which?” Jesus said, “‘Thou shalt do no murder; thou shalt not commit adultery; thou shalt not steal; thou shalt not bear false witness;

19 honor thy father and thy mother; and, thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.’”

20 The young man said unto Him, “All these things have I kept from my youth up. What lack I yet?”

21 Jesus said unto him, “If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell what thou hast and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in Heaven; and come and follow Me.”"

So keeping the commandments is the key, the primary commandments being mentioned here:

Thou shalt do no murder
Thou shalt not commit adultery
Thou shalt not steal
Thou shalt not bear false witness
Honor thy father and thy mother
Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself

There are other requirements, for instance, baptism and the removal of false religious beliefs even if it means breaking the bonds with the denomination of your choice. However, these are the essentials and the requirements before baptism is even possible.

Most people today will bear false witness meaning lie, commit adultery meaning having sex out of wedlock and steal. The continuation of this lifestyle will leads to eternal death, so these are the key changes anyone must undergo provided they wish to follow the Bible.
