I have visited a lot of churches in the last 22 years, some Chinese, some Middle Eastern, Some Korean, Some Indian, Some African, Some Filipino, Some Spanish, some had over 4000 members and some had less than 40 members. This is what I learned about these churches.
1. Inclusive churches are wealthier. I have been to churches where a lot of the bible study leaders are obese and less than 1% of those members volunteer to give me rides home, the pastor who always offered me rides was a millionaire with three millionaire sons while the pastor who never wanted to give me rides home, despite living walking distance from my house, was broke.
2. Good churches care about relationships. At the wealthy churches I visited, strangers would argue with me and not take no for an answer when I refused offers for rides to church and these people were both beautiful and rich. While the guys who would not even take 4 minutes to reply to my questions about the bible despite working at one time as paid a minister was broke.
3. Successful Christians care about the needy. All the rich Christians I know would buy free meals for disabled people and one very wealthy pastor would buy free vacations for disabled church members too. Than there was a woman at my old church who bullied a poor girl that liked the same guy as her and she was one of only three women in that bible study, out of hundreds that was obese. Another pastor divorced his first wife to marry another woman and almost went bankrupt.
