Came across this and thought I might share it with my fellow Christians, and possibly those who aren't. I'm not here for debate and I know that I do not know everything, but I am planning to attend Bible college at some point so I can answer all questions with correctness. "For all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God" Romans 3:23.

I am agnostic so I do not believe Jesus (actual name Yeshua, or Joshua) was the son of god. However the first video especially is something I find myself talking to people about (the message not the video) To me Jesus was a philosopher, and in all of his teachings every one of them was about helping others, to not judge others. This is most likely do to the extreme judgmental nature of the old testament rightings (yes the jewish talmud) I personally believe he was speaking out because the judgmental nature was creating a xenophobic ideology which I do believe many of the church today have. In fact what he taught would today be viewed as rather liberal in mindset. Its important that people realize this, especially christians since they seem to get there information from everywhere but the bible. Good take.

I love your verse. "For all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God" Romans 3:23. So true, so true! One of my favorite verses. I plan on attending a Bible college in about two years and I'm really looking forward to it. I'll find a nice education there and maybe a perfect beautiful Christian woman if I don't find one here at home first.

Those are interesting statistics. I've recently bought a book on other religions and how they compare to Christianity because I've noticed no one I ask knows much about other religions, or other Christian denominations.

I'm an atheist and I've three copies of the Bible within reach. Also three copies of the Koran.
I've read them and I don't believe any of them.

Hm good second video production though as a former Christian I no longer believe in God. The implication that I've 'given up on love and community' however is somewhat insulting. I believe in those things however not in the church. The bible is a laudible book in many respects however it is also a book that has caused much suffering and death. I don't pretend to have a rallying cry for people to gather to but I won't lie to them either not give them false hope. I choose to have faith in people, not imaginary gods and those are the symbols of my life such as they are.

I grew up with Baptist preachers who preached their own interpretations and I heard the same things over and over again. I'm not trying to diss Baptist preachers, and I know not all Baptists are like that, but I can't learn from a sermon I've heard 20 times.
I've recently joined a Methodist church where the pastor attended bilble college and learned not only about Christianity, but about the history of the time period (which to me is an important part of understanding the bible). Instead of preaching to us, he teaches us and goes over things in the bible that we might not understand simply by reading it (if that makes sense).
So in other words, I like learning, especially about things I'm interested in. Therefore, by going to bible college I can benefit myself and others around me that may also be curious.

I have studied the Bible for more than 20 years, and trust me all churches preaches stuff the Bible doesn't support. Trinity for instance, the immortal soul and hell, just to mention a few of the most common unbiblical teachings of most churches.

I'll recommend you focus your studies on the book itself, rather than a twisted view based on parts of it, witch is what the churches will preach.

I'll recommend the book "What Does the Bible Really Teach" as a book for personal studies - it's freely available on-line by the way.
