I believe that it’s not always wise to follow your heart, many woman have done this and ended up in toxic relationships cause the guy bought her chocolate and held the door for her at a restaurant. A guy I used to watch says you have to know the difference between character and charm cause it’s impossible for good character to turn abusive but a charming guy could punch you one day and buy you candies and chocolates the next, I’m not saying that following your heart is always bad, but following God’s presence is better and the bible says if God sabotages a relationship, accept His judgment and move on, beating a dead horse will give your soul diseases.

Ya it's why you learn the Warning signs of red flags and what love bombing is before you enter a relationship.
If a man or woman is trying to rush you, throws themselves offering so much, wanting to know your deepest psychological behaviors and thoughts right away, I'd be very concerned.
There is a difference between wanting to get to know someone out of curiosity and feelings vs. Someone who wants to in order to control you.
If you feel uncomfortable speak up or ditch their ass.
No one is worth hurting over
And you are pretty much spot on.. this is what God says about following your heart
Jeremiah 17:9
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
Like you said someone acts nice one day and they are evil inside when you see the real side of them.. you must look for frutiful qualities in a SO or you will dig yourself a steep hole
We may have to talk about your definition of god and judgements, but overall I agree with the main message.
