What Christianity teaches about resistance

The bible teaches that obedient Christians would face persecution and adversary, and I believe the Torah implies that the bigger blessings come after bigger adversaries and resistors. Like I had the worst problem I ever had in my entire life, the year I was cured from my anxiety disorder and I had the second biggest problem I ever had in my entire life, the year I prayed my first prayer. My biggest gifts always came at the price of either sacrifice or long term obedience, and nothing valuable in God has ever come to me for free.

Love this and helps me with thoughts on things, I guess I've always been too impatient in life because the things I loved and rushed for are now gone. So, you're saying if no persecution and adversary, then it wasn't deserved even if I lived by the golden rules?

The bible says problems can also bless you and not everyone is persecuted

Unfortunately, I don't feel blessed about my past problems, cancer, cheating spouse, etc. but I'm still here and hope to see if any good is still to comes. For all I know I may find happiness I've never felt because those problems happened,

So, my forgiveness of at least the actions of Ex. should be considered a blessing? I forgave her quickly because I'd learned not to let jealousy control me, but cancer came very soon which destroyed me and my chances to find another mate in life. I'll try but have difficulty feeling blessed even though I should because I'm still here whereas most would have died.

I had cancer too and I had to work hard and suffer many things to be forgiven by God

I'm new on this forum Jennifer and discovered it by accident just days ago, but wish it would let me give you a heart like fb does, it may but I don't know how, LOL, I do wish you knew me better though so I could ask you the personal questions, like what you did or think you did to need forgiveness for... sorry you had to suffer whatever it was. Ps. I hope you don't mind but yours was one of the 1st I clicked on to follow, something about you like a warm glow drew me, your seemingly morale views that unfortunately seem extinct these days.
