The Pharisees believed religion was about

1. Competing with people

They resisted the sinners who made errors in judgment and tried to destroy their reputation and character and Jesus said they would be punished with the same sins they refused to forgive

To avoid any misunderstandings. The post is talking about Jewish leaders from 2000 years ago back in the time of Jesus. Those same leaders wanted to kill Jesus which is. This post isn't saying anything bad about the Jewish religion in any way

She was most likely referring to Jewish leaders that wanted Jesus dead about 2000 years ago. Not the Jewish religion as a whole, Jesus was a Jew after all
