What my doctor friend told me about using God to win your fights

My friend who was obsessively religious, told me he believed if he wanted something badly enough, that God would make sure he got what he wanted. Both he and another guy who believed this had been competing for the same girl and he won the competition and got her. I have never really wanted a guy too much but getting top grades and having a successful career was always something I wanted and when I want something badly enough, I always get it.

If you want something, it’s always best to ask for it though prayer. Ask God to give you the strength to keep him first while still perusing that desired thing. In the end, God ultimately decides what you get versus what you don’t. Sometimes when you really really want that certain something, God will not give it to you because you are putting it before him and He wants you to discover that through that pain of not receiving it. It’s not healthy to rely on the idea of “I want something enough I’ll get it.”

Yes you put it right. Sometimes we want things because we want, but God always know what is good and not good to us. Sometimes bwe being rescued from bad things but we see it as a failure. Praying always gives hope and peace to keep going. That's why believing in God is great

@TwiNshichamp1 you can achieve the same results by being confident and trusting in yourself. I do believe in God but i think that God helps those who help themselves. You can flip a coin and guess the outcome and pray for the coins side to be revealed too and the results will be very similar this proves that its just a mental thing and praying doesn't actually change anything. Being positive and having self confidence, ambition, and persistency and consistency do change things

@MannyFrs Man there is a time your mind fails and reach at the end. You just can't do anything. Praying making you have peace and keep going, also things to happen. Never underestimate power of a prayer. Spiritual people know this. Their is a power of spirituality which can change things and make things. Don't underestimate it.

Back in the `80's there was this movie called, "Oranges Are Not The Only Fruit". In it, this slightly older EXTREMELY religious couple adopted a little red-haired girl they named, Katie. Their entire lives revolved around religion!! One day, Katie got really sick and collapsed in school or church. She was only about 5. The parents and all their religious friends took this collapse as a sign from god and practically made a religious figure out of her!! THEY considered her illness to be a miracle from god!! In the meantime, because of this illness, she couldn't hear, anymore and had a few other very bad problems but, they refused to let her see a Dr. about it! She was their chosen holy child! Finally, a Dr. DID get to see her and found out what she had and told them that if he didn't take care of it immediately, she was gonna die! They still refused claiming god would cure her if she needed curing. She nearly died before, finally, the Dr. forced his hand and cured her!! There's a lot more to the story but it doesn't exactly pertain.

wow. i wish it was that easy for me lol. i think god has allowed everything in my life to be a battle, battles i most often los e, and i think he allows this because he knows its what it will take with me to make me as stong as im gonna need to be to make it through whatever trials lie ahead. Which scares me a little cuz i've been through one thing after another, more trials and more pain than most people have to deal with in their whole life! If he thinks i need to be THAT strong then what the heck is he preparing me withstand or endure in the future? What could be worse? Just about the only thing i haven't gone through yet is dying, and STAYING dead.

If u want something badly then put everything in it u hv. And hope for best prep for worst , just swim and fly in it... focus everything on it do research do trial and error... u will catch the road and try to do it alone as people are hungry for money...

I don’t believe that. God’s answer to me has often been “No”. I’ve wanted nothing more than to have a family of my own, but I still have yet to find even a possible girlfriend.

Work on yourself. Don't just say you want nothing more than. Problem solve and study religiously how you can develop yourself to the point where women would want a family with you. Not trying to be mean by the way love u😋
