How to do you react when someone makes fun of your religion?

I told my friend that Azan sounds funny to me. ( Azan is type of song played in mosques) and she just blocked me. How do you react when someone makes fun of your any religious belief?

That's not making fun, they're simply making a comment. They said it sounds funny not that it is funny. They're just not use to it so it sounds different. I'm sure he or she didn't mean it as an insult.

I usually roll my eyes and ignore it unless it's really offensive then that's grounds for ending our friendship. Respect is essential for friendships

But if you love and care about me you aren't going to make fun of it because it is a big part of who I am. If you can't respect my religion there is no way you can respect me.

@F1r3byte Also don't get me wrong I wouldn't stop talking to someone if they said they disliked a song or something relevant to me religion but if they make jokes all the time that I find disrespectful then ya I'll have an issue. For example my boyfriend jokingly calls me a devil worshipper because that's a common misconception about my religion but he doesn't say what I believe in is stupid or anything like that. I know he doesn't believe in what I do and know he probably thinks its a little silly be he respects me enough to be kind and accept my beliefs as is without putting me down for it.

Now, if it just sticks to making fun of me, I'll ignore it but tend to not deal with that person anymore. Other times I tell them to sod off.

I realize my religion makes me an object of animosity to a lot of people, I've grown accustomed to being exposed to so much hatred since it has happened all my life. But I try to never let such hatred in my heart.
