Two things to note here; the first is this was 1400 years ago where the standards were different, age of consent did not exist, and a lady's maturity would be measured by her body not her age. In this case it is said that Aisha was in her period, meaning she is matured. Secondly, the word fondle does NOT mean sex nor does it even mean anything inappropriate. Fondle is closer to cuddling than it is to whatever your sick mind has you thinking. This along with the very fact that sexual intercourse is not permissible during the menstrual cycle in Islam proves that this was not something inappropriate. Also the age at which she got married to the prophet is up for debate. This is one source, plenty of other sources say she was at least the age of 10. Though Bukhari is a reliable source, it isn't perfect because the Hadith is NOT the word of God. Multiple sources are necessary in order to validate it which we were told to do as Muslims. My final point here is if Aisha was so young why would her father approve the marriage? Would you as a father send off your young daughter for marriage? Or if it's like your saying then why did Aisha herself love the Prophet Muhammed (PBUH)? I dare you to find one Hadith or Verse that states Aisha was displeased with her marriage for WHATEVER reason. Back then she certainly was considered a "woman" who was qualified for marriage and she enjoyed every aspect of her marriage.
