Please hear me out: Do you think its a spiritual demonic attack or sleep paralysis?

About 3 months ago I was extremely tired one night around 12 something AM, around 4 something AM, I was awake but in a very low conscious state because I was awaken by a feeling and pressure of someone sitting on my chest as the image above shows.

The entity I saw in my low conscious state was a dark black shadow figure that looked kinda like the character of Venom looking at me intently with such negative energy, extreme hatred and bitterness that I think no human can possibly have for anything.

I tired not to look at him because it just looks extremely horrible and scary; as I laid there powerless, I could feel him trying to pull the energy out of my chest.

I felt the spirit of life was being forced out of me as I was losing life energy quickly, as he was struggling and trying really hard to pull something out of my chest but it wasn't my heart.

At this point I couldn't speak nor move at all, I was totally being dominated by this dark shadow entity, as I said, I was powerless.

I begin to feel this entity was getting close to killing me and was going to kill me, and I began to say "Jesus help me" "Jesus help me" "Jesus help me" in mumbling very low sounds, as the entity was getting really close that appear to be death, then I yelled extremely loud the name of Jesus and the entity left immediately and the experienced stopped.

I woke up fully conscious and extremely tired as I was before I went to sleep, I checked my phone to see the time and was around 4 something AM; I then switched position side of the bed and fell asleep about one 1 minute later.

I googled what happened to me and medical science says it was sleep paralysis which is common, then I saw YouTube video and read some of the comments that some people experienced the exact samething as me in terms of a dark shadow scary figure sitting on their chest looking at them intently with a terror experience as they couldn't move nor speak.

Thoughts on this phenomenon?

@Hispanic-Cool-Guy same thing happened to me except I was lying on my belly. Funny thing is in that space of consciousness my bedroom looked exactly the same. regardless of what science says, let's just call this thing. What it is- a demon. So I was on my belly sleeping... although not deep in sleep. Its like I was in between conscious and subconscious. I felt a pressure on my back. I saw a long pale whitish hand holding me at the sides. Silly me thinks to myself. Oh an angel but that thought quickly shifted once I realized my so called angel had dirty long decrypted nails.. Talk about nasty. Anyways I try to scream but my voice is so low its literally in my head or belly as people say. I then recited the lord is my shepherd prayer and that demon quickly vanishes like nothing. Seeing how it fled made me even sure that it was a demon.

Yes I had same experience, also right after I got baptised in the tenth grade. I was insanely scared at first since I couldn't move and had felt like I was sinking down in something dark. And on the day after being baptised that night I felt something grab on my chest and try to pull them. I started saying in my head "I worship Jesus" but everytime I said that it (demon) pulled more out of agitation I believe. this had happened like probably 6 or 7 time in my life and I would notice strange scratches on my chest after waking up. I had later learn to rebuke it in Jesus name and I believe it is gone now. If your dealing with that, I would command the evil spirit to leave immediately in Jesus name.

Wow. You actually had physical evidence of scratches on your chest from the event... and people still won't believe you nor I and others who went through it. To them its just the mind being fallible.. smh

Yeah, my family members didn't want to believe me either shockingly and would make an assumption that I was just watching demonic horror shows or something😞😒. but I'm glad that mess ended. And I recommend commanding it in Jesus name to leave

Don't listen to these weirdos, it sounds like textbook sleep paralysis. Are you on any medication or taking any supplements? Some of those can cause it.

No. But I was watching stuff about demons on YouTube and thinking about the devil and evil a lot prior to the experience.

I have experienced something like that before, but it wasn't terrifying at all. I woke up early in the morning and experienced sleep paralysis. I couldn't move, and I couldn't talk, but I could only move my eyes.

I could feel that someone was sitting hear the bed; my long deceased father was sitting in a chair with his feet up the deal reading a book. I want scared, but I wanted to get up and take a closer look it yell out to him, but by the time I could get up, he was gone. I know that I was experiencing sleep paralysis and possibly some kind of hallucination, because at that time, I wasn't sure if I were asleep and dealing, or awake and hallucinating.

Let's apply the scientific method. Now it may be a demon, which is imperceptible to everyone else but you, or it could be a phenomenon we have documented many times before and be just sleep paralysis. I'll let you decide.

I have no doubt that you felt it and experienced it. I however have doubt that this experience is something supernatural. Experiences are not always an accurate depiction of what actually is. Our minds are fallible.

Again, I have no doubt you experienced him. I have no doubt you saw his face. What I do have doubts about is that this demon actually exist in reality. I have doubt your experience, what you saw, was an accurate depiction of reality. I have doubts about that since our minds are fallible.
