I don't agree with atheists or religious people. They both have taken a firm stance that shows they know without a doubt and are not open to being proved wrong. When in reality, nobody knows for sure. If people did then it would be a provable fact! There wouldn't be thousands of religions because one would be so undisputable!
In my opinion, agnosticism is the best route. Being open to theories is such a powerful position! That's the stuff that makes civilizations advance! <-Being open to change and the possibility that you're wrong.
However, I respect atheists positions a little more. Atheism is frowned upon in many places, and to identify as it is respectable. It shows that the person could actually be thinking for themselves. I was almost an atheist when I was trying to discover what religion I was. I was just fed up with religion at the time.
With religious people, well never know how much influence they've had. It's so easy to get brainwashed when introduced at a young age. It's happened many times before! They get you when you're highly impressionable. Glad I didn't sink in further.
I do wanna clear up that I don't have a problem with the teachings of most major religions. They can have positive benefits! But I think that "Secular Morality" is a better way to go. Everyine should read about moral philosophy. Religion can easy dismiss things that should further be talked about and explored just because it's "forbidden."
When I was a Christian I hated that! Being told what to do just because some guy in a book says it's good or bad. Without properly explaining why. I wanted to know more about why it's bad. And if it's even bad in the first place.
Sorry for this long rant 😂 that is all 🙏

I don't get how you can't believe in ANY higher power, but hey to each their own, not like any of us really know what's in the afterlife anyway
People who basically need a psychologist for their God complexes. I respect people who respect my beliefs and faith and don't try to disrespect me because they're angry at their parents or God for something I didn't do. I don't have issues with Athiest per se. They're people and God did say love your enemies. But Atheism is a lie from the devil. Just because somebody says God is real, doesn't make them religious. Religion will lead you to hell.
I don't label myself as an atheist. I just believe in science being the most likely reason behind everything. To me, a single entity or multiple entity's creating us makes absolutely zero sense. There is more and more proof of religion being completely false every single day. It's only a matter of time.
I am atheist so I will lay down facts. What I believe in effects no one and nothing. I was raised up in a very religious household so this was simply all on my own, what I believe in is no ones business and frankly I nor any other atheist will care about a dumb stereotypical opinion
Well I am an atheist but I don't really think about it as it's not a conscious thing like religion, it's more of a passive stance.
I'm cool with them. As long as my religion and their lack thereof don't clash, which they shouldn't have a reason to.

I'm a Christian, and I agree with a lot of what atheists say and think. These two memes are good examples. There's a lot more going on in the bible than just God's word, and the fact that clergy actively tell church members NOT to reason through it is a huge red flag.
To me, atheism is just another belief system, and it's arguably more righteous than most pew-sitting christian congregations.
I've had some amazing theological and philosophical conversations with atheists that would never be possible with mainstream christians"The greatest tragedy in mankind's entire history may be the hijacking of morality by religion" - Arthur C. Clark.
"I have encountered a few "creationists" and because they were usually nice, intelligent people, I have been unable to decide whether they were really mad, or only pretending to be mad. If I was a religious person, I would consider creationism nothing less than blasphemy. Do its adherents imagine that God is a cosmic hoaxer who has created the whole vast fossil record for the sole purpose of misleading humankind? And, although I do not necessarily agree with the paleontologist Teilhard de Chardin's advocacy of evolution as a major proof of the glory of God, de Chardin's attitude is both logical and inspiring. A creator who laid the foundations for the entire future at the beginning of time is far more awesome than a clumsy tinkerer who constantly modifies his creations and throws away entire species in the process." - Arthur C ClarkI'm agnostic, but like with religion, I feel it's a big claim to make, not that I'm saying atheism is a religion.
Like to rule out the possibility of there being a god is a big claim to make, but so is saying there definitely is a god and this book contains all his teachings - I'm wary that not all religions believe in god.
As long as people aren't pushy or dickheads about their beliefs, then whatever.
Personally, I'd rather atheism be true, because then, there's probably no after life and at least we can just die in peace and not continuously be tortured in hell, because we died as 'non-believers' according to a 'true' religion.Atheist are smarter... they generally have better reasoning than non atheist, hence why they are atheist in the first place
however I shall say, that atheist go on to say there is no god...
I shall counter that by saying mathematically and scientifically its more likely than not that there is a creator...
religion is probably a load of bullshit thoughMy interpretation is that the right way to live your life is to struggle with the existance or non existance of god rather than settle on a single definate answer. I think the best answer may be "i don't know" i used to think i was an athiest but i found it despences too much with the utility of biblical values. The truth is if anyone says they know for sure, they are lying maybe even to themselves.
It’s not my belief. I have had spiritual experiences. But I totally understand why people are atheist. If God is real, why doesn’t he do something to stop all of the hate in this world? Why doesn’t he stop world hunger? If he was real, he would have prevented these, and many more problems, before they even happened.
If they believe is some strange science phenomenon cool. I still can’t make sense of believing everything sort of appears...
For me it’s strange, but I understand. Looking at our world and the stories in bibles it has to be a joke he exists.
I believe in a creator, but I struggle with it.It doesn't concern me whether someone choose to believe one thing, or another. I do find it intersting to hear the thoughts of those who believes differently than I do, however.
When it comes to religion, my standpoint is, that when we look at the same colour, and I see red, while you see green, the actual colour we're looking at, remains unchanged. The difference is the ego and pride of the observer. The inevitable result of scientific progress. I'm an atheist myself but there is more to the question than people realize. I really like Dr Peterson's lectures on the bible and religion. Well worth watching
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f-wWBGo6a2wNot to be a jerk but you have to be either increablibly stupid or willfully delusional or both if you can logically come to the conclusion that all you see on earth and in the universe does not have a brilliant mind who created humans, animals, fruits, vegetables, planets, stars, sun and moon etc and intricate designs and functions of life.
I don’t understand it. Like, if we’re all descended from monkeys, then... who made the monkeys?😂
Overall, I have nothing against people who are atheist. People can believe what they want to believe ☺️If most atheists are like my dad, as in categorically denying any possibility of a higher power, then I think they tend to go too far. I don't think you can really prove OR disprove the existence of a god, and I don't particularly care whether there is one, so I identify as agnostic.
i can mostly identify with the last statement. the bible is deception, falsehoods or just "result of a lack of knowledge of the people of the time" at best. that's not even an outrageously new claim. we knew this for many years but people still kling to it like children that were never told that santa clause isn't a real person.
I'm shocked and flabbergasted at how many young people today are Atheists. It is not only spiritual suicide, it is extreme narcissism, extreme foolishness, and absolute insanity. And also intellectual suicide. Not us, it's you Atheists.
I take it that you don't think atheists cherry-pick.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Al9EyNoCsRII think most outspoken atheists are hypocrites are hypocrites when it comes down to it. They do they same things they fault religious people for doing but see it as making them superior. One famous atheist whom I respect because he understands the poison of others and doesn't try to make exucses is Penn JIllett.
There is no such thing as an atheist. All people know God exists whether their belief matches that or not. Satan is their god.
www.crossway.org/.../Atheists are annoying AF. A lot of them insist that everyone know they don’t believe all the while they say they don’t want people preaching to them. I don’t care , STFU. What is wrong with these people... no, don’t answer.
If there were a god who actually cared about people and wanted them to believe in him, why wouldn't he just say something? Speak up. Show himself and remove any doubt. Why would he feel the need to hide and be so mysterious? It's pretty absurd if you actually about it.
Everyone whould be able to believe or not believe whatever they want.
I personally don't believe in any kind of god.
I actually don't care that much about how all of this was made.
I'm just accepting the fact I have to live my life.
