OBE: Out-of-Body Experience
NDE: Near-Death Experience
Vote G. Per the phenomenon of near death experiences involving "clinically dead" people who see tunnels of light or have other pleasurable experiences in a place supposedly representing Heaven: Centrifuge testing for fighter pilots involved a mechanical device that spun them around, creating increasing levels of accelerated gravitational force to test the threshold of potential pilot's ability to maintain consciousness. After losing consciousness from blood draining from their head into their lower extremities, many underwent experiences identical to "near death experiences." All neuroscientists understand that lacking oxygen causes this phenomenon in brains which still retain electrical activity.
Besides, according to historic Christianity, **everyone's** spirit departs their body upon death. Yet most people who were "clinically dead" had no recollection whatsoever of any out of body experience. This also bespeaks against the notion of near death experiences, since we would expect **everyone** to have those experiences.
Although some non-Christians failed to see their religious leaders such as Buddha or Mohammed, while other non-Christians saw Jesus instead, this is easily explained. Millions of non-Christians are surrounded by Christian culture and imagery, and are thereby subconsciously influenced. And while Christians view Jesus as Almighty God, human leaders of other religions are not considered as important. As for Islam, it's impermissible to make a physical depiction of Mohammed, which explains why Mohammedans never see his image. Also, if supposed experiences of Jesus and angles giving people accolades were true, we would expect a counterpart to this: a superabundance of experiences where Jesus or angels admonish non-Christians (who have no Christian background) to embrace Christianity.
Furthermore, within the first day of death, blood pools in the body; some body parts become dark purplish red, other part become completely pale. Living cells function aerobically and anaerobically; after death, cells only function anaerobically (without oxygen). This facilitates lactic acid production, which gels with myosin, causing rigor mortis, an extreme bodily stiffening. Without these conditions, death hasn't occurred. Scripture texts about coming back from the dead have Jesus and His apostles reviving people who were dead from one to four days and raising them physically whole and healthy. Jesus Christ promised a general resurrection for all humanity, and declared that raising the dead comes from God's power.
In summary, so called "near death experiences" not only distort what arising from the dead entails, it's a dangerous idea. Christ taught that most people are lost; "near death experiences" provide the illusion of most people being saved. My commentary comes from Chapter IX (9) from my book on my website: www.thezap.net
OBE on a few occassions with and without entheogens
NDE only one and a Valkyrie came for me. I believe a christian would have mistaken the valkyrie for an angel (though there's not necessarily a difference anyways, a feminine figure made out of light and love is about the most descriptive I can do. Impossibly beautiful and impossibly vast, yet able to focus down into a human sized form we can just barely grasp.
In OBE I have seen the lower world and upper world. I don't really think of the lower world as hellish, though I suppose some parts are more fiery or icey than others most areas were pretty verdant with life and just seemed to be where things regenerate/grow from. Dr Eben Alexander describe it as the world of "earthworm consciousness" in his book on it. The beings there were usually animals, plants and small impish creatures about a foot high, but it varies based on where you are. The upper world was much more bright and ethereal, borders between things were non-physical in comparison to lower or middle world and the being I encountered all seemed to be able to fly or more hominid. As a rule lower world entities can benefit from the middle world whereas upper world entities seem to need to be entreated more than traded with which effects the sorts of dynamics possible.
This probably isn't the best place to give an honest response to this kind of stuff but there it is.
It's probably not an out of body experience. I was 10 or 11 and I was with my mom in the kitchen, we were laughing and cutting up. I took a drink of my apricot juice and had laughed at the same time I swallowed the juice. It was air juice the air. I was choking. I went to the sink and I felt my mom behind me. It was blackness at first then it was all bright white then she revived me and I came back. I remember thinking it didn't hurt as much I had always thought it would.
But no I didn't go to heaven or hell. I was enveloped by sheer black then the bright white. Nothing magical happened.
I used to get attacked by evil spirits in my sleep at night. It went away when I started asking God to help me. After that I would still get attacked on rare occasions but the attacks would no longer be painful. They would just be weird.

We live in times where people don't care about religion and I am not going to listen to people who are God-haters and non-believers because this world is a test, God provided life to exact specifications of climate, food, resources and etc. God did not cause these wars, human beings polluted the world, human beings started wars, human beings curse, steal, fight and hurt each other.
I know when the time is approaching and every soul gets judged, people will be scared shitless because people assume that when you die that's it, there's nothing to do. My thinking is, if someone has this thinking that God doesn't exist, do you really think you can murder 20 people and get away with it even if the cops never found out? Do you really think there's not a higher level of justice in this world to send us to heaven and hell? Why do you think God provided messengers and prophets on earth to help mankind?
When a non-believer sees the vast amount of angels, the thunderous voice of God who is upset, the pit of hellfire on the day of judgment, that's when people will shit their pants and say I can't believe my time on earth came to an end without believing in God. It's like when someone doesn't study for a major test what is the look on their face? They are nervous, they are in disbelief, they are worried and that's just over 1 test for 1 course here on earth imagine your entire life being judged by the almighty himself?
The Big Bang Theory is a joke if I take a glass from the kitchen and it's empty and I want water will the water just appear magically? Or do I have to do something first in order to get the water into my glass? God is timeless, limitless, endless there is nothing we can associate to God because of his greatness so only believe in 1 creator and 1 creator alone. God provides the invisible hand on earth.
I had an OBE. Several years ago I was deer hunting in upstate New York. We hunted all day and when it was time to leave,
It started snowing heavy. I got lost, ended in an alder swamp and eventually ended up in the next county. Managed to get a ride to the bar near my friends house. Got a drink to calm my nerves. We talked a while and left to go. At that point I realized that my.357 magnum pistol was not in my holster. I had no idea were it was. The 3 of us went to the house and I got into my sleeping bag and fell immediately fell asleep.
I started dreaming of myself being lost only I was floating above myself watching the whole trip below me. At one point I crossed a fence and I saw the revolver come out and land next to a tree. It was just before I got my ride. I new exactly were it was. I couldn’t get back out there for another week. I took my friends right to the spot, and sure enough it was there.
I have never had anything like that since. It was definitely scary, I didn’t want to spend the night in the snow.
Yes. I had an out of body experience about 9 months ago where I saw unspeakable joys and Jesus was awaiting me with open arms. As I kept delaying, I saw a person in Heaven and then it all vanished. This took place over a 6 minute period.
I had a friend about a month after this experience whose grandfather died and he showed me pictures and he looked identical to the man in my experience and it wooed me to want to be saved because time was drawing short.
I am thankful for this experience because it empowered me to give up my heavy living and have a remnant, Holy and more consecrated life with God but sadly, I am battling lust issues, particularly incestuous activities. I am seeking help for this, however and will be recovered soon.
I hope never to be this scared again because it could have been a Hell vision instead.
I was in a pretty bad wreck in my mid teens, came to in a flaming car with several broken ribs, a sprained ankle and some pretty deep cuts. Had to crawl out and I think I passed out several times either from pain or blood loss, mixing with my pyrophobia.
Everything just kept fading to black.
Then it felt like I blinked and I was in the hospital, and very numb and it was 2 days later. No existential mindfucks, no spiritual journey, just black for a split second.
I’ve had out of body experiences many times. Some people confuse them with lucid dreaming but you know when it’s different because you see your body laying down and your luminous body doesn’t move like your normal body would. You move with your thoughts/commands and you feel really light. The first time can be scary though. But if you do enough meditation and hypnosis, you can master that out of body experience and not freak out.
I’ve never experienced it. But the story and movie “Heaven Is For Real”, was like the best story I have heard. If you have heard the story and/or watched the movie, it was the best story I have ever heard. If you haven’t, you gotta see it and/or hear the story.
I went to Valhalla and Odin explained that Loki was tricking everybody on Earth into believing in this "Jesus and Heaven" crap. That's exactly why Thor went to the box office to smash shit up.
I have, but the best way to explain it, would be something like a Major Night Terror, or Silent Migraine... I got seriously sweaty and I felt like I was being sucked up like a vacuum. After a second or so, I felt like I was thrown to the ground, and It was all over.
I've had a couple of OBE's but the only one I can really remember was when I was playing in the backyard at about age 8.
I was runnning around this sort of vegetation that divides our yard from our neighbors yard (I was allowed to play not just in my yard but in the 4 other yards in the area that were all connected via grass and woods.)
I was carrying a Water Pistol
And yes I'm aware that its rather boring.
I've also had Premonitions of events to come (and yes they came true and no, I really did have no way of knowing them) but the most interesting thing was knowing that a Teacher was leaving the school before I had any reason to know that
Personally, I don't believe anyone goes to Heaven or Hell and is allowed to come back. This would not be fair to all the others. One thing I know is that God is fair and just , so he would not allow one person to experience Hell or Heaven and not allow everyone to. That would be like having the answers to a test before you took it. You earn heaven by living your life as much like Christ's as you can and faith. You don't need faith if you are allowed to just go and experience it.
Once I was mediating, it was like day 135 straight in a row...
and this day was a odd one
I started drifting away from my own body and was looking at myself from above...
I had to stop because it actually felt like I was going too far
I've had an out of body experience where I could see myself from another perspective, but it wasn't NDE and definitely didn't go to a "heaven" or "hell"
Yes.. I was Nearly CHOKED to death and saw a DARK An Aperture Above in which IT Looked like a Death Cloud... Scary and Hairy. xx
XD your method of "keeping people from making shit up" won't work.
also you might wanna consider that a "dying" brain is delirious and can not reliably percieve what's happening in reality.
No, it doesn't exist, when you die, you sleep till the rapture as it says in the KJV Bible
A thief wouldn't have been crucified.
Cruficition was reserved ONLY for those who committed crimes against Rome or slaves who killed their masters
Luke 23:40-43 40But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? 41And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. 42And he said unto Jesus, LORD, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. 43And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
I don't know if this counts as a near death experience, but I once had a seizure in the bathroom and split the back of my head open. I was unconscious the whole time and I woke up in the hospital. 7 staples.
I have nearly died twice in my life. Never saw the other side. The only thing that happened was I lost a few weeks of my life.
what do you mean
I've been very close to clinical death but NO NDE or OBE.
I astro projected when I was like 8 of an area I already knew. Not sure that counts. Probably not. I don't know why I’m still typing this out. It was pretty cool tho no lie.
I nearly died of dehydration. I was all blurry and I had halluzination but no heaven or hell.
