Hey guys, a couple months back my boyfriend and I took a blood oath. At first I was cool with it because I didn’t know the severity of it and I’m so in love with him. But it feels like our paths are about to change and I want to be able to break up whenever I want but reading online and apparently we are bonded spiritually.. do you guys have any idea on it or stories or any info. Please don’t be rude I still love him but I just want to know my options.
A blood path doesn’t mean you can’t break up with him, or even go long periods of time without being in contact. It just means you are bonded eternally and it’s not a bad thing, unless he gets in some deep bad juju and links you but even that as far as oaths and bonds go, a blood path performed by most amateurs is a fairly low level of bond. Think of it more as a thread than a rope or chain.
if you really can’t stand the thought of being tied by this thin thread, you could attempt to curry favor with a lesser demon who could easily sever the bond, but nothing comes for free and I do not recommend this route. At. All.
Another way the bond could be severed with demonic (or less likely, angelic) intervention is if one of you were bonded to a more powerful being. In this case, think of their power to create bonds more like a rope or chain than the thread, and so that thread is easily snapped should your ethereal partner pull you somewhere that your mortal partner can not go.
Again, my advice is to leave well enough alone, and just take this minor mistake as a lesson to think things through before taking action. It most likely will not affect you in the slightest in this or any other realm, regardless of where you go and the proximity you keep to this partner of yours.
I UNDERSTAND BUT WHAT IF YOUR PARTNER TELLS YOU ABOUT IT since I didn't and agreed and done so but then he tells me the consequence may even be death now I am so afraid if the thought since he referred to as one was to cheat or leave that death could be a consequence and hell I told him I would just tell him to get lost but he seems more serious about this and I beleive he is a bit more advanced since he is a military and also 24 years older then I so then How is one to get away since even practicaly said for me to have my heart back since he locked it with his and threw away the key and who ever I want to give it to after they would have to smin in the middle of the ocean to get it and swim throught the sharks (i think it means they would have a hard time to get to it ) Should I be scared or should I jjst leave and never talk to him again since he is deployed I didn't even think one could have such sinister thoughts to even say that if he cannot have my love then no one else will (he also claims that if he can't have my love then no other woma can have his love ) or do u think its something more about me and my own life om so confused and scared
@TinyTina37 you are giving him more power over you, girl. You have to either find the power in yourself or find someone else with more power than him to get you free. You should definitely leave and don't talk to him again, and get the cleanse done to wash your trail so he can't follow. He has a madness and he's already infected you with it partially, the more you talk to him, the deeper the spell he can weave around you and make the bond tighter.
You can get your heart back, that's not so easy to take away from a person, at least not for a significant time, the bond calling and holding a heart can be broken more easily, especially with time and focus. Just be aware more contact means more opportunity for him to keep weaving and binding deeper.
1 st, you will not be able to “break up wherever you want” it will require a dialogue between the two of you, on reasons why and agree to dissolve the oath. Meaning it has to be done mutually, if the oath involved mixing of bloods, it will also involve spilling the blood to the ground I. e on soil as you both renounce whatever what said before to break it. The renouncing of the oath should start as the first drop hits the ground and you will be free.
There those with opinion that blood oaths are just but symbolic, don’t fall for that, they are real as curses, taking blood oaths is forbidden and not to be joked about, breaking a blood oath will lead to misfortunes in life, and this case, in each relationship you get in, you will never be able to remain in any, never settle, If it doesn’t happen, it might befall your children like a curse.

I've been bonded since 16, not on my own free will. It's not that bad. We still love each other, we dream of each other, sometimes I can feel him and when he does horrible things to his body, my nose bleeds. When we finally see each other, we feel at peace and all the feelings come back. You can move on, you'll just always love him and have a bond. I was bonded with him not through a blood oath but because his family involved magic to try to separate us.
You made a promise. And I don’t believe that people should break them lightly. However, there are times that you will need to. So ask him to release you from this promise, and next time don’t make promises so lightly.
Oaths of ANY kind are only as binding as the integrity of Those whom entered INTO said Oath.
If you are BOTH persons of integrity, you MUST candidly discuss how your needs have changed~
You CAN'T have a UNILATERALLY binding commitment. ONE of you is free to take advantage of intimate opportunities while holding the Other to honor pledged exclusivity.
A blood bond is a very strong bond but even so Like any relationship it can break and both of you need to walk away at this point What ever we do in our lives Always remember circumstances change Spirits have a high understanding and would not be judgmental However their are Demons and Devil worshipes that will do anything to prevent yourself making such a freedom of spirit
The groups I know that have that It's a very serious thing much you've done however My question would be is does this person have the ability to enforce it does the 2 groups that I know of that does such a thing they were deftly kill you once in always in and that blood kind of seals that envelope natural life But if you want your shirt You are not sure of the actual consequences and understanding of it come kiss your ass
First of all... what? And second of all, you can't just back out a blood oath. The blood symbolizes the sacrifice your willing to make so this would be really shameful to back out off.
Like there probably won't be repercussions if you break it but you shouldn't done this in the first place
I don't want to give you blame, just don't do blood oaths (unless your completely sure but best to not do them at all)
If you're already having insecurities about your relationship. I would discuss the issues with your boyfriend. If it's not something that can be fixed or resolved. Then I would just break up with them.
You are fine, there is no mystical power or anything, if you don't believe me, the only way to break up is death, that is literally the only way to stop a blood oath, but as I said it isn't magical or anything and you'll be fine.
If you break it, nothing will happen aside from upsetting the person you made it with. There is no mystical or magical connection, you won't fall ill or be cursed. None of that is real.

He also said that we had to secretly in our heads think of what that consequence would be then lick our blood but I disnt even think anything since I didn't take it serious and he still will not tell me what the though he was thinking of

Well it isn't magic, there are no mystical consequences.
Its not legally binding so it ranks below divorce and people do that all the time.
It's no big deal It's just an oath, dt u took while hurting ur self for no reason Well, I don't have any solution for your situation But u r afraid to brk up coz of dt blood oath shit I mean Dt doesn't mks sense
When two people cut their flesh and let the blood flow. They then mingle their blood by holding hands and/or taste the blood. Supposedly there's some kind of magical/spiritual power to a blood oath and if you break it in the wrong way your life will be cursed under similar terms/conditions you placed on keeping it. So if you said the oath would last forever so will a curse if you don't break it properly. I never even heard of anyone doing this irl. Just saw it in movies/tv shows.
Probably worked/had more significance in ancient times and cultures that put a big emphasis on magic/spiritual stuff because in that kind of culture it's a deep part of how your brain is wired to perceive reality. If you trip and break your leg it's caused by a curse when you live like that. In a modern culture, it's just an accident. There's still some countries today where they think like that. Not saying I would make a blood oath tho. Ha ha. Have heard that people who get organ transplants sometimes remember things that donor knew/saw. if that's true then mingling your blood might have a tiny degree of who-knows-what to it. Must not happen often tho or blood transfusions would cause issues too.
