Why do atheists think they’re smarter than Christians as if no Christian has ever been atheist?

It’s sad how atheists think they’re smart for not believing in God but they don’t realize a lot of us were pretty much atheist at one point until the world beat us so bad we chose to open our heart back to Jesus.

My life got way better when I decided to humble myself and ask Jesus for forgiveness.

I think both sides set themselves up as adversaries based on different things. Some atheists feel upset that Christian teachings are being pushed where they don't belong including government and schools. Some Christians feel their faith being attacked as well as their intelligence and character. Unfortunate for both sides, there are just a vocal minority who make it look bad for the actual rational members from both sides.

I was wondering how long before the atheists would start insulting the christians. not an hour.
If atheists hate God so much... which makes no sense because how can one hate another that doesn't exist? Why can't atheists just let others believe what they want.
But no, they are some of the most spiteful and hateful people that exist.
Jesus loves them too. But they deny the love and choose hate and seek to harm others that would believe.
