Very few people view the bible the way I do and I think God wants me to marry a man who shares my perspective on faith. I offend so many people with my unique views on God, I’m not even sure I can be friends with a typical Christian, much less date or marry one.

As a man, I do not like it when women in general put requirements or expectation on a potential relationship. So honestly when say things like, "I think God wants me to marry a man who shares my perspective on faith." Most me are more interested in what you think and not what you think God wants you do to. We are no not looking to date God, be we might be interested in dating a women who can determine what she wants for her self. Because lets be honest, there is no way of knowing for sure what God wants or thinks... it just our best guess as to what God wants.

But I will be honest I have done a lot of dating in my life and I have tried with religious women and it never works. Now days as soon as she mentions God or talks about how important her faith is to her and how she wants a man that she can share her faith with... I shut it down and move on fast. So yeah, if you keep that type of mind set you are seriously reducing and limiting you opinions... and honestly some of the best guys are probably slipping through your fingers.

Every individual has unique views, it’s prob little difference. I’m atheist and wife’s Catholic but no major dust up there.

It’s always the small things that make or break a relationship. Not the big stuff like religion. Does he use the toothpaste from the bottom? Does he clean regularly?

I’m not religious and I married a non-religious woman. It’s true that if your views are extreme you will have a hard time finding a partner that shares them. In general, in evangelical churches there are three women for every two men.
